AGED BURLINGTON RESIDENT EXPIRES
Mrs. Julia Ann Linville, 89, widow of Captain John Linville died last night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Luella Reese, a mile south of Burlington, after a five weeks' illness. She was born in Butler County, O., April 18, 1836 and moved to this vicinity when she was nineteen. She has been a resident of Delaware County for 70 years. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday morning in the M. E. Church at Burlington. The funeral cortege will leave the daughter's residence at 10 o'clock. The Rev. O. E. Evans and the Rev. H. V. Cummins will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Reese Cemetery. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Reese; two sons, George and Boyd; and a brother, John Shroyer, of Burlington.

Remains of Leroy Linville Will Be Laid at Rest Today.
The funeral of Leroy V. Linville, the well known retired farmer who was killed by a C. & O. freight train Sunday morning, near his home at Medford, seven miles southeast of Muncie, will be conducted from the Methodist Episcopal church at Burlington at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 1 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Rees cemetery. Mr. Linville is survived by a mother and three brothers, a widow and four children.
