Mrs. Jesse Gopson's Funeral on Wednesday
Funeral services for Mrs. Jesse E. Gipson, 26, of Perry, who died Monday at the Audrain Hospital, were held Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church in Santa Fe. The Rev. Bryan Lee Hansford, former pastor, conducted the services, and interment was in the East Lawn Memorial Park here.
Members of the Ladies Auxiliary of Canton Craghead No. 41, Patriarch Militant, were in charge of the White Rose graveside service with Mrs. Charles Styles, president, reading the charge, and Mrs. Cleveland Lipp, past president of the Association of the Auxiliary, acting as chaplain.
Others taking part were Mrs. Ben Langenbach, Mrs. Carl Cleeton, Mrs. Scott Rankin, Mrs. Charles Kehl, Mrs. Ross White, Mrs. Homer Martin and Mrs. A. C. Whitson of Mexico; Mrs. Lela Bailey and Mrs. Flora Yeager of Perry; Mrs. George Wyss of Centralia; and Mrs. Harry Vannoy, Mrs. A. H. Dohman and Mrs. Tom Underwood of Auxvasse.
Honorary pallbearers were: Mr. Langenbach, Mr. Styles, Mr. Kehl, Guy Ulrich and D. K. Staples of Perry, members of the IOOF Lodge.
Mrs. Gipson is survived by her husband and three children.
She was buried in April 1952 in East Lawn Memorial Park, Mexico, Audrain Co., MO, Findagrave #168555941.
