Possibly he was the same, and if Polly died relatively soon after the marriage, then this would explain the lack of further information about Polly Coffman. DLB 2012.1
Mary Coffman was also known as "Polly" Coffman.1

Note: B. K. Swartz book shows a possible daughter Laura Swarts, born about 1862, who married George W. Crawford, Jr. 8 MAY 1880 in Crawford Co., IN. However, the 1870 census of Harrison County appears to show Emily Swarts, daughter Elizabeth, and an unknown Thomas Swarts, age 22, living at Heth Township, p.117A, but there is no such daughter Laura in the household. DLB 2012.
