Don A. Baldwin, 92, of Danville, passed away on Aug. 16, 2009, at The Hawthorne Inn in Danville.

He was born in Indianola, Il. to Samuel F. and Flora Belle Baum Baldwin. He married Florence Jackson on Nov. 13, 1938, in Urbana, Il. She survives.

He is also survived by a daughter, Sandra (Wayne) Scarlett of Indianola; grandchildren, Kevin (Shelley) Mitchell, Kirk Mitchell, Kristi (Troy) Kirby, Jason (Kathryn) Scarlett and Jeremy (Debby) Scarlett; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Morgan, Amber and Nathan Kirby, Tyler and Carley Taylor, and Ryan, Lauren, Will and Peter Scarlett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Dorothy Plakas and Winifred Harrington and son, Alan Baldwin.
