Ernest Lee Mapp was born on 5 December 1939 in Chambers Co., AL. He married Judith Reinhardt, daughter of
(WADLEY) Funeral services for Ernest Lee Mapp, 59, of Wadley were Tuesday, Jan. 19, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Womack and Bro. Shannon Mapp officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
Mr. Mapp died suddenly on Sunday, Jan. 17, at Randolph County Hospital.
A lifelong Wadley resident, Mr. Mapp was born Dec. 5, 1939, in Chambers County. He was an air force veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and had been employed with Sherwood Packaging Company. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Rosie Lee Fincher Mapp, and a brother, Richard Mapp.
Survivors include his wife, Judith Reinhardt Mapp of Wadley; two daughter[s], Libra Mapp and Abra Mapp of Wadley; one son, Ernest Lee Mapp Jr. of Wadley; four sisters, Sara Norred, Hazel Owens, Letha Howard and Marie Gray of Roanoke; and five brothers, Oneal Mapp of Wedowee,
Benjamin Mapp of Cusseta, Jerry Mapp of Wadley, and Billy Mann and Joe Mapp of Roanoke.
Pallbearers were nephews Kenneth Mapp, Benjie Mapp, Jonathan Mapp, Lon Howard, Bobby Norred and David Mapp.
Arrangements were by Quattlebaum Funeral Home, Roanoke.
