Note:

This Robert Boyd is found in the 1840 census, Raisin Township, p.141, with two females born in the 1810 - 1820 period, and one female born in the 1835 - 1840 range in the household. Probably the Sarah B. McConnell, age 14, born in Michigan, listed in his household in 1850, was the same as the young girl listed in 1840. From 1850 on, this couple did not have any of their own children living with them. In 1880, a Leona Conkling, "niece", was living with them. They may not have had any children, or none who survived infancy.

Sarah B. McConnell, born 1836, married John Conkling 6 DEC 1860 in Lenawee County. Sarah's parents, according to the McConnell History 2013 online genealogy prepared by RobertMcConnell82 shows Sarah's parents as David McConnell (1810 - 1901) and Rachel Myers (1815 - 1847). I presume that Robert Boyd's wife was the sister of either David or Rachel. DLB 2014.
