Hazel Poole Kitzmiller Baumgardner, 80, of Bristol, VA, died Thursday, March 29, 2001, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born in Bristol, TN, a daughter of the late George O. and Addie Belle Poole, and was preceded in death by her first husband, King C. Kitzmiller, who died in 1974. She was a member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church at Nordyke. Mrs. Baumgardner is survived by her husband, John R. Baumgardner; two daughters, Jean Kitzmiller Sparger of Shady Valley and Beverly Kitzmiller Cox of Winter Park, Fla.; a son, Stanley P. Kitzmiller of Denver, CO; two sisters, Edna Whitford of Fredericksburg, VA, and Mary Stover of Fort Walton Beach, FL; three brothers, Bill Poole, Lemuel Poole and Beryl Poole, all of Bristol; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon in the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will greet friends following the service at the Mausoleum. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Healing Hands Health Center, 210 Memorial Drive, Bristol, TN 37620. Robert Forest Kitzmiller, 60, died unexpectedly early Tuesday morning at his home in the Wyatt Hollow community, Route 4, Bristol.
Mr. Kitzmiller was a well-known Sullivan County merchant.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Florence Wyatt Kitzmiller; two daughters, Mrs. Cecil E. Rose and Mrs. Paul J. Johnson, both of Bristol; one son, Frank G. Kitzmiller, Bristol; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Combs and Mrs. Hyder Cox, both of Bristol; and 14 grandchildren.
Paul Cook Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bessie Kitzmiller Combs, 90, of 305 Bristol Caverns Highway, Bristol, Tenn., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 1966, in Bristol Nursing Home.
She was a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
She was the widow of Charles L. Combs.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Don (Ada) Whitaker, Bristol Tennessee; six grandchildren, Ronald Davis Martin, Kelvin Martin, Teresa Hatfield, Janice Stanton, Kristel Curry and Vaughn Dean Martin; 10 great-grandchildren' one great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
