Davy was born in England per 1910 census info, daughter Mary Davy. He married Clara Bell Gebhart, daughter of Albert Gebhart and Florence S. Hipple, in 1902.


Note: No marriage or divorce record found. I suspect this was Charles William Davy, son of Thomas and Martha (xx) Davy, born 6 JUL 1878 and died 18 JUN 1968, buried at Calvary Cemetery, Kettering, Ohio. The Thomas Davy was born in England, consistent with the (erroneous?) demographic informaiton for Mary C. Davy on the 1910 census, which shows her father born in Englad. He was single as of the 1900 census, and divorced and living with his parents as of the 1910 census. His obituary published 19 JUN 1968 lists wife Stella (Kreitzer) Davy, two daughters and three sons, but does not mention a daughter Mary Young. On the 1930 census, Charles Davy is shown as having married Stella at age 40, which would be about 1918.
