Lisa Marie Sayarinh

Lisa Marie Sayarinh, 45, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2008 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born November 18, 1962 in Peoria, Illinois, the daughter of Lloyd A. and Evelyn R. (Larimore) Peterson. She was a homemaker and attended the Christian Life Cathedral Church in Fayetteville.

She is survived by her husband; Phoukham (Eric) Sayarinh of Springdale, three daughters; Amy Sayarinh, Kelly (Sayarinh) Larios, Angela Sayarinh of Springdale, Arkansas, two sons; Jason and Andrew Sayarinh of Springdale, Arkansas, six sisters; Susan Wallace of Edwardsville, Illinois, Lola Nichols of Galesburg, Illinois, Luanne Brackett of Washington, Lori Pierce of Olathe, Kansas, Arkansas, Leslie Pachter of Denver, North Carolina, Ginger Noetzol of Pekin, Illinois, six brothers; Mark Peterson of Pekin, Illinois, Douglas Peterson of Peoria, Illinois, Timothy Peterson of Chillicothe, Illinois, Chris Peterson of Peoria, Illinois, Bruce Peterson of Katy, Texas, Larry Peterson of Fayetteville, Arkansas and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 23, 2008, in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Pastor Red Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Memorial Garden Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Francisco Larios, Buri Yang, Sone Sayarinh, Rance Peterson, Jeremy Leach and Miles Leach. Honorary Pallbearers are Tracy and Kelly Noetzol.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM, Friday, August 22, 2008 at the funeral home.



She was buried in August 2008 in Fairview Memorial Gardens, Fayetteville, Washington Co., AR, Findagrave #29201441.

Son of Elisha E. and Carrie E. Black Rakestraw. He married Peggy E. Larimore on Oct. 6, 1953, in Peoria.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Barbara Meier and Julie (John) Kunski; and one son, Brian Rakestraw, and three sisters, Delberta Brown, Jackie Doubet and Betty Davault. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Michael Meier, Kathy Lynn Bendler, Carrie Budzinski, Amanda Hageman, Tosha Adkins and Morgan Rakestraw, as well as eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one sister, Madelyn (Glen) Brown and one brother, Eugene Rakestraw.

He was an honorably discharged U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, serving on PT Boat 181 in the Pacific Theater, in the Philippines.

He then worked for the Peoria Journal Star for 33 years, later worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. for several years, and lastly the City of East Peoria Public Works Department, doing landscaping, before formally retiring.



Keith L. Rakestraw began military service WW II service, U.S. Navy, served on PT-181 in the Philippines.

Brian K. Rakestraw, 52, of Peoria passed away at 4:26am Monday, May 29, 2017, at the home of his sister Julie Kunski.

He was born on December 10, 1964 in Peoria son of Keith and Peggy Larimore Rakestraw. He married Lisa Eads on November 22, 2001 in Toulon, IL.

Surviving is one daughter Morgan Rakestraw of Princeville, his mother of Peoria, two sisters Barbara “Barby” Meier of West Peoria and Julie (John) Kunski of Peoria. Also surviving are two brothers Doug Lathram of Florida and Kevin Parker of Washington, four nieces Carrie (Paul) Budzinski of Peoria, Amanda Hageman of Bartonville, Tosha Adkins of Sugar City, CO. Kathy (Elery) Bendler of Carbondale, IL. and one nephew Michael Meier of Peoria, IL. He was preceded in death by his father.

Brian was an honorably discharged U.S. Air Force Veteran, proudly serving our country for 9 years. He worked as an auto salesman for several dealerships in the Peoria area. Brian also worked for the city of Peoria in Code Enforcement. He later worked for Yellow Book, Better Way Siding & Windows and also construction with his best Friend Robert Lorance. He last worked at Morton Walmart in management.

He enjoyed many things in life including karaoke, cowboy boots, guitars, fishing, hunting, Harley Davidson motorcycles, and the love he had for his family and friends – Brian will be sorely missed.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington. Visitation will be one-hour prior to his service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in his name may be given to OSF Hospice.



He was cremated.
