ROSEDALE, Okla. (UPI) -- A man who died in a fiery crash Monday night was identified Tuesday as Gary Don Smith, 30, of Maysville.
The Highway Patrol said Smith's pickup truck ran off a hightway, skidded on grass, hit a tree, overturned and burned.

Mr. Smith, age 62, of Purcell, passed away at his home surrounded by his family.
He was the 3rd of four children born to Raymond Lynn Smith and Betty Margaret (Miller) Smith.
A Maysville and Wayne farm boy, he attended Wayne Schools and graduated with the class of 1971.
He married Deborah Ann Johnson on December 13, 1973 in Purcell. They remained living in the Purcell area where they raised three sons.
In 1974 he began working for the Santa Fe Railroad, later, BNSF, Burlington Northern Santa Fe. He was also a Regional Truck Driver, of bridge and railroad train track ties across the U.S. After 39 years, he retired in 2012 with BNSF Railroad.
Throughout his life he loved working and being in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. He also enjoyed working on his farm, spending time on his mower and tractor. One of his most recent hobbies was making figurines out of railroad ties and horseshoes which he enjoyed giving to friends and family. However most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by; Parents, Raymond and Betty Smith; Younger brother, Gary Don Smith.
He is survived by: Wife, Debbie Smith; Three sons, Michael, Greg and Chris Smith; Five grandchildren, Hope, Haileigh, Hunter, Maebry and Graydon; One brother, Lee Smith; One sister, Ivy Galloway; Mother-in-law, Betty Johnson; Brother-in-law, Gary Johnson; and Sister-in-law, Teresa Bacon.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Union Hill Baptist Church, Purcell.
Arrangements: Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
Memorials: Cancer Treatment Center of America, Tulsa, OK.

SUNRAY — Coy Winford Thompson Jr., 73, of Waco, formerly of Sunray, died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, in Waco.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Lane Memorial Cemetery in Sunray with John Green and Billy Bob Brazell officiating. Arrangements are by Morrison Funeral Directors of Sunray.
Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 14, 1938, in Atoka, Okla., to Coy and Alice Ione Thompson. He was a graduate of Sunray High School class of 1957. He married Linda Owens of Dumas on Nov. 26, 1959. He was a longtime resident of Sunray and Dumas, and he attended Calvary Baptist Church and First Baptist Church while living in Dumas.
Mr. Thompson worked in law enforcement for many years, holding various positions in Dumas, Hereford and Amarillo, as well as Hansford County. In 2000, he retired from Moore County; after which, he and his wife moved to the Austin and Waco area to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his spouse, Linda Owens, in 2008; his father, Coy Thompson Sr., in 1974; his mother, Alice Ione, in 1997; a son, Thomas Michael, in 1963; a sister, Barbara, and brother, Kenneth, in 1942; and a brother, Adrian, in 1991.
Survivors include a son, Tim Thompson and wife Julie of Lorena, and their children, Cody and Erica; a son, Daniel Thompson and wife Jennie of Lakeway, and their children, Emily and Jacobus; two brothers, Steve Thompson of Florida and Lowery Thompson of Longview; and two aunts, Reda Ware of Arkansas and Othelia Cartrite of Sunray.

DUMAS - Christine "Chris" Owens, 72, died Thursday, July 7, 2011.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in First Baptist Church in Dumas with Sam White, pastor of North Plains Christian Church in Dumas, officiating. Burial will be in Northlawn Memorial Gardens by Morrison Funeral Directors.
Chris was born July 2, 1939, in Lockwood, Mo., to Ralph and Alma Fesler. She married Harold Owens in March 1987 in Dumas. They shared their life together in the Dumas community.
Chris was employed as an LVN until her retirement. She touched the lives of everyone for whom she cared. She was involved in the community, actively volunteering for Memorial Hospice and Meals on Wheels. She was truly one of the few "angels" here on Earth. She was a member of North Plains Christian Church, where she actively gave of her time. She was the Lord's servant to others.
Chris was very devoted to her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Alma Fesler.
Survivors include her husband, Harold; five daughters, Pam Farni and husband Danny, Vickie Holt and husband Gary, and Gerrie Taylor and husband Steve, all of Dumas, Sharlet Muskrat and husband Terry of Porum, Okla., and Terrie Owens of Kentucky; a son, Rowdy Rhoades and wife Cindy of Dumas; a sister, Maxine Chadwick and husband Stanley of Wilmer; a brother, Bill Fesler and wife Theresa of Lampasas; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Bill and Joye Watson.
The family suggests memorials be to Memorial Hospice, 224 E. Second St., Dumas, TX 79029; North Plains Christian Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 742, Dumas, TX 79029; or Meals on Wheels, P.O. Box 1535, Dumas, TX 79029.
