Mr. Alois William Pechal, 83, died Monday, January 19, 2015, in a Temple Care Center. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015, with Rosary being recited at 7 p.m., at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Walter Dhanwar officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Alois was born in the vanished community of Little Flock, Texas, to the late William Pechal and Rosalee Hlavaty Pechal. He attended Seaton School and graduated from Temple High School. Alois served in the U.S. Army. He married Rosa Stoebner on April 23, 1956. Alois was a letter carrier for 35 years for the United States Postal Service having worked in Houston, Killeen, and Temple. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a 3rd and 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. Alois was a member of American Legion Post 133 and VFW Post 2408.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Albert Pechal.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa Pechal, of Ratibor; sons: Thomas Pechal, of Temple, Kenneth Pechal, of Rogers, and Dale Pechal, of Ratibor; daughter, Peggy Shaffell, of Temple; brothers: Andrew Pechal, Anton Pechal, of Temple, and Arnold Pechal, of Temple; sisters, Martha Tomlinson, of Temple, and Margaret Gibson, of Temple; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
He was buried in January 2015 in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Cyclone, Bell Co., TX, Findagrave #141547904.

Eloise "Ellie" Stensaas, 75, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma passed away on February 5, 2014. She was born in Ireton, Iowa February 21, 1938 and was married to Lawrence Stensaas April 19th, 1963. To this union three daughters were born and they raised their family in Concordia, KS.
Ellie enjoyed being wife, mother and homemaker. She dearly loved her husband, her daughters, her grandchildren, her flowers and…Kansas University Basketball. When the girls were young she devoted her time supporting them in all of their many activities.
Ellie will be lovingly remembered by her family: husband, Larry of Broken Arrow, OK; daughter, Cheri Hobson and her husband, John of Berryton, KS; daughter, Denae Stensaas of Broken Arrow, OK; and daughter, Jodi Sullivan and her husband, Rob and two grandchildren, Sydney and Cooper all of McKinney, TX. Sister Judy Carson of Tucson, AZ; sister-in-law Margaret Reece of Scandia, KS; sister-in-law Dorothy Loring and her husband Lee of Scandia, KS; sister-in-law Joyce Stensaas of Norway, KS; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Matilda Holtdorf and brother in law Glenn Stensaas.
A Private memorial service will be held at Floral Haven Funeral Home for immediate family.

William "Bill" Ray Noes, of Harrison Township, passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 79. He was born on February 12, 1941 in Hamilton, Ohio to the late William J. and Ruth L. (nee Knose) Noes. He married his high school sweetheart, Judith Kuhlmann, on November 22, 1961, and they were blessed with two children: Brad and Amanda. Bill’s greatest joys were his faith, his family, and his community. He loved Harrison, and he loved to serve his community to make it a better place for everyone. In school, Bill excelled at football, basketball and track, where he held records for many years. Once married, he and Judy raised horses and were 4H advisors. Bill was also instrumental in getting the first rubber track, helping the band get uniforms in the 80s, and creating the drama club at the high school. He also served at Love Inc. and was a member of the Odd Fellows and Legacy Christian Church. Perhaps one of his greatest honors was serving as a Harrison Township Trustee for 28 years. In addition, Bill worked as a USDA Food Inspector until he retired.
Bill will be greatly missed by his loving wife Judy Noes; beloved children: Brad (Cheryl) Noes and Amanda (Steven) Adams; cherished grandchildren: Sterling & Phoebe Noes, Olivia, Isaiah, Emma, Audrey, Clara, Gabriel, Ella, Sophia, Levi, and Zachary Adams. He is also survived by his sister: Sandy (Vic) Mortashed and his brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Richard and Nancy Martin and Fritzie (William) Kuhlmann and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was buried in December 2020 in Glen Haven Cemetery, Harrison, Hamilton Co., OH, Findagrave #219528157.

Wonderful brother of Carrie Kuhlmann & Hans Kuhlmann. Devoted uncle of Kelly Schumaker. Chris was the owner of Direct Termite and Pest Control and lived in Harrison. He passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at Ft. Hamilton Hospital. Age 56.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 9 from 4 to 8 PM at Brater-Winter Funeral Home, 201 S. Vine St., Harrison, OH 45030. Funeral service in the funeral home on Friday, July 10 at 10:00 A.M. with Fraternal Order of the IOOF # 140 starting the services. Interment in Glen Haven Cemetery.
