The last rites in memory of Mrs. Emily Jones, eighty one year old Golden City woman, who died at the Memorial hospital, Wednesday morning, have been set for 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Phillips funeral home at Golden City, the Rev. Harvey Gresham officiating. Interment follows in the IOOF cemetery at Golden City.
The eighty one year old woman was born at Lennox, Iowa October 2, 1882, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Clippinger. She was married in Iowa to John J. Jones. He died November 15, 1942.
The couple came to Golden City in 1901. Following his death the widow and one son, Fred Jones, continued to make their home in Golden City. In addition to the son, she leaves a second son, Alva Jones of Golden City and two daughters, Mrs. Loren Free of Kansas City and Mrs. Nora Chilcott of Pomona, California.
She was buried in October 1963 in IOOF Cemetery, Golden City, Barton Co., MO, Findagrave #121105417.

This was apparently Mildred Grace Winton (1912-1986), daughter of Samuel and Edna Almira "Mattie" (Richards) Winton of Barton County, Missouri. That marriage apparently ended in divorce as Mattie was remarried at least two more times, to a Burgess and then to Samuel Henry Trapp in 1954. I find no evidence of any children for Mildred.
Evelyn remarried to Russell Hudler in 1969 in Denver. DLB 2024. He and
Evelyn Ruth Fox were divorced on 20 February 1968 in Denver, CO. He died on 12 May 1992 in Mountain Grove, MO.

Evelyn Hudler, 87, of Avondale went to be with the Lord on Oct. 14, 2017.
Evelyn was born on Oct. 14, 1930, in Bridgeton, N.J., to David and Evon Fox.
Evelyn is survived by her spouse, Russell Hudler; children, Linda, Kenny, Glen and Richard; stepchildren, Cathy, Russell Jr., Laurie and Holly; 28 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, numerous extended family and friends.
Evelyn was a very calm and gentle person and loved her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.

Mr. Jones died at 12:50 a.m. Wednesday in Chastain’s Nursing Home in Lamar after a long illness.
