Bill was the son of Leonard Wayne and Ella Elizabeth (Johnson) Estes. He was reared in Bartlesville, attending the Limestone Elementary School and graduating from College High School with the class of 1961. He then attended Northeastern Oklahoma State College. He was married to Candace Jean "Candy" Flemings on August 29, 1972 and they lived in rural Nowata County for eighteen years before returning to Bartlesville. They were the parents of two sons and two daughters. Bill was a retiree of Reda Pump Company with 43 years of service.

August 4, 1935 - July 29, 2012 GUTHRIE Chad was born on Aug. 4, 1935 in Bartlesville, OK to Chad Sr. and Verona (Englund) Bixler and passed away July 29th at his home. Chad was a graduate of the University of Central Oklahoma and served in the United States Air Force. Chad married the love of his life Phyllis on May 14, 1960 and they enjoyed fifty-two beautiful years together. Chad worked for Dolese Bros. Company for almost 40 years. He is survived by his wife of the home; one son, Chad W. Bixler, III (Karen) of Redington Beach, FL; one daughter, Sheila B. Bixler of Edmond and her son, Jordan. Jordan W. Bixler has been a delightful grandson who Chad dearly loved and enjoyed spending time with. He is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Cavanagh (Tom) of Orlando, FL, Carole A. Tarner (Jack, Jr.) of Owasso; a brother, John P. Bixler of Edmond; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 2nd from 9 am to 9 pm with the family present from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Friday, Aug. 3rd at Smith & Kernke, North May Chapel followed by burial in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Association.
