Peter J. Salie 50, of Plymouth died Wednesday, July 16, 2003 in his home in Plymouth after a brief illness. He was born in Boston on September 24, 1952. The son of Alfred W. Salie of Cedarville and the late Mary Walsh Salie. He was raised and educated in Norwood and was a Graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School and attended Dean Junior College in Franklin. He lived in Plymouth then Athens GA for 20 Years before returning to Plymouth 2 years ago. Mr. Salie was first employed by the Fish and Game Department for the Comm of Mass and in Georgia, he was employed as a Landscape Designer, including the Landscape Design for the Olympics held in Georgia several years ago. He is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Salie and Benjamin Salie, both of Athens GA, his father, Alfred W. Salie of Cedarville; 1 brother, Robert Salie of Nakomis FL, 1 sister, Judy Murray of Hanover, 5 nieces and nephews and his former wife, Whitney Hardy Salie of Athens GA. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, July 19, 2003 at 11 AM in the Sullivan Funeral Home, 551 Washington Street, Rte 53 in HANOVER. Interment will be in Hanover Center Cemetery. Visiting Hours will be on Friday from 4-8 PM.
