She lived on 13 January 1920 at 206 South 26th Avenue, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, divorced, lodger in the Charles Buck home, bookkeeper.2 She lived on 7 April 1930 at 225 North 25th Street, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, 41, married, bookkeeper at Kodak.3 She lived on 8 April 1940 at 3903 North 17th Street, Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, age 51, divorced, with both daughters, cashier at Kodak Company.4 She died in December 1977 at Omaha, Douglas Co., NE, at age 89 SSDI.
Note: Gertrude may or may not have been legally married and/or legally divorced. Her 1910 occupation, office clerk at a wallpaper store, likely reveals how she met Edgar Sniffen, as he was a wholesale wallpaper salesman. She used the Sniffen surname, and one would suspect that there likely was a marriage, but it was clearly over by January 1920 when her marital status was recorded as "D" and her children were boarding with an apparently unrelated family.
