     Christian Funk married Barbara Cassel. Christian Funk was born circa 1731 at Franconia Twp., Montgomery Co., PA. He died on 31 May 1811 at Harleysville, Montgomery Co., PA.

     Christina Funk was born on 15 December 1768. She married Christian Frantz Oberholtzer. Christina Funk died on 26 March 1854 at age 85.

His parents were living in his household as of the 1900 census.² He died on 15 November 1908 at Hagerstown, Washington Co., MD, at age 38

Hagerstown, Md., Nov. 15. -- Edwin H. Funk, 30 years old, a business man of Hagerstown, died suddenly today of gastritis at his home after an illness of about one week. He was president of the Maryland Leather and Saddlery Company and was formerly engaged in the tanning business. His widow, who was a Miss Kitzmiller, of Keeydysville, survives. He was a member of the Lutheran Church.¹
