Mary Louise Harbaugh died on 13 August 2003 at age 75 Mrs. Mary Louise (Harbaugh) Scott, 75, of 665 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA, formerly of Wilmington, Delaware, died at 5:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 13, 2003 in The Glen of Willow Valley, where she was a guest for a short time. She was in failing health since December 2002 and critically ill for the past month.
Born January 8, 1928 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late, Married Nancy A. March 11, 1961 in Winchester, Virginia and son Viola (Criswell) and Warren Scott. He spent his early life in the Altoona, Pennsylvania area. Mr. Scott was a graduate of Altoona Area High School with the Class of 1960. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired in 1980 as Master Sergeant following 20 years of service. They moved to their present residence in 1999. Following his discharge from the service, Mr. Scott was employed in civil service at Site R., Fort Ritchie, MD and later in Omaha. He retired May 28, 1999. Following his retirement and return to Waynesboro, he was employed as a security guard for Waynesboro School District and also worked at South Mountain Golf Course, South Mountain, PA. He was a member of Germantown Bethel Church of God, Cascade, MD, Joe Stickell American Legion Post #15, Waynesboro and also volunteered with the Fire Police for Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania. Mr. Scott enjoyed sports and especially loved to golf. He chose to be an organ donor so that even in his death he could continue to help others. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children; Tammy L. Lynch, Sandra J. Poffenberger and Todd C. Scott, all of Waynesboro; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Dona Hallman of Duncansville, PA; three brothers, Warren Scott of Warner Robins, GA and William Scott and Jack Scott, both of Altoona; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Scott.

Mrs. Scott graduated from the Waynesboro High School with the class of the 1945. She also graduated from Central Pennsylvania Business College, Harrisburg, PA in 1947.
She and her late husband, Mr. Robert G. Scott were married September 15, 1957 in Waynesboro. She moved to Wilmington in 1952. Mr. Scott died August 2, 1980. She entered Willow Valley June 1994.

She is survived by one sister, Frances H. Miller, Waynesboro and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was buried in August 2003 at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin Co., PA, Findagrave #51445514.
