Alexander Homer Gammill married Lydia Heazeltine, daughter of John Smith Heazeltine and Elva Ann Charles, on 26 December 1905 at Olathe, Johnson Co., KS.      Carl Clifford Gammill was born on 20 June 1923 at Hayden, Routt Co., CO. He was the son of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Carl Clifford Gammill died on 12 November 1998 at Lakewood, Jefferson Co., CO, at age 75 dates per SSDI. He was buried in November 1998, Cremation.

     Darryl Curtis Gammill was born on 20 January 1950. He was the son of Lawrence Harold Gammill and Eunice Irene Birkett. Darryl Curtis Gammill died on 12 August 1998 at age 48 dates per SSDI.

Darryl Gammill, a Denver investment adviser and securities analyst, thinks stocks could literally be music to people's ears. Therefore he has put the performance of IBM shares to music. Gammill first collected information on the stock's activity between April 1984 and April 1985, including highs, lows and stock volume. Since he is not a trained musician, he asked a composer to turn that data into a musical score. The result: the record titled Rhapsody in Big Blue ($7.95).
The up-and-down price movements of IBM stock during the twelve-month period are the melody. When the trading volume rose sharply, the music is stronger. For variety, other sounds were added to the score. Bells and chimes ring when there were indications of insider trading, and surf crashes when the stock hit a high.
Gammill believes he has broken new ground. "Until now no one has been able to detect or transcribe emotion from a stock-performance chart," he says. Gammill is now setting the market performance of Exxon and Coca-Cola to music. Investors looking for a new stock may soon ask, "How does the stock sound?"

Dorothy Louise Redmon
1907-1998

Dorothy Louise Redmon of Grand Junction, Colo., died at her home Aug. 1, 1998. She was 90.
Redmon was born to Alexander and Lydia (Hazeltine) Gammill Oct. 14, 1907, in Olathe, Kan.
She moved to Routt County when she was 4 years old, lived in Hayden, Colo., Long Gulch, Colo., Craig, Colo., and in 1975 moved to Grand Junction.
She married Walter Mansfield June 4, 1925, who died in September, 1972.
She married Leether Thomas Redmon Aug. 17, 1975, in Craig.
She was a member of the Craig Rebekah Lodge, VFW Auxiliary, Royal Neighbors, Elk's Does and belonged to the First Christian Church. Redmon enjoyed dancing, crafts, people and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband; sons, James C. (Ethel) Mansfield of Clifton, Ariz., Charles L. (Beth) Mansfield of Craig, Richard L. (Gladys) Mansfield of Craig and step-son, Don Redmon of Burlington, Colo; daughter, Jerrie (Earl) Simpson of Craig; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Marzella Bowden of Kingfisher, Olka., and Velma Helppie of Boise, Idaho; brothers, Carl Gammill (Joyce) and Lawrence Gammill of Golden, Colo.
Redmon was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Mansfield; sons, Clemen Dale, Jackie and Bill Mansfield; grandchildren, Janine Simpson, Terry Mansfield and Diana Lecompte; parents, Alexander and Lydia Gammill; sisters, Ester Bryan and Hazel Hamilton; and brother, Walter Gammill.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Aug. 6, 1998, at the First Christian Church in Craig. Mervin Johnson officiated the service with organist Anne Carr and soloist Chaeli Mulholl with selections of "In The Garden," "Amazing Grace," "Take My Hand" and "Precious Lord."
Pallbearers were Allen Mansfield, Jamie Mansfield, Tony Mansfield, Lyle Reed, Dale Mansfield, Jack Mansfield, John Simpson and Mike White.
Interment was at the Craig Cemetery with graveside services by the VFW Auxiliary.

She was buried in August 1998 at Craig Cemetery, Craig, Moffat Co., CO.

     Elizabeth Marzella Gammill was born on 23 November 1915 at Hayden, Routt Co., CO. She was the daughter of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Elizabeth Marzella Gammill married Arthur William Van Cleave, son of Church William Van Cleave and Lila J. Kitchens. Elizabeth Marzella Gammill married Charles Robert Bowden, son of James G. Bowden and Ethel F. (?), after 1942. Elizabeth Marzella Gammill died on 23 October 1999 at Kingfisher, Kingfisher Co., OK, at age 83. She was buried in October 1999 at New Home Cemetery, Dover, Kingfisher Co., OK.

     Heazel Frances Gammill was born on 1 December 1910 at Bryan, Brazos Co., TX. She was the daughter of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Heazel Frances Gammill married Owen Kermit Hamilton, son of Robert J. Hamilton and Winifred Schooley, on 28 March 1928 at Hayden, Routt Co., CO. Heazel Frances Gammill died on 22 August 1989 at Rifle, Garfield Co., CO, at age 78. She was buried in August 1989 at Palisade Cemetery, Palisade, Mesa Co., CO.

     Laurel Irene Gammill was born on 16 August 1948 at Denver, CO. She was the daughter of Lawrence Harold Gammill and Eunice Irene Birkett. Laurel Irene Gammill died in 1955 at Henderson, Clark Co., NV. Cause of death: Complications following a tonsillectomy.

     Lawrence Harold Gammill was born on 14 February 1920 at Hayden, Routt Co., CO. He was the son of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Lawrence Harold Gammill began military service on 25 October 1940 Enlisted, U.S. Army Air Corps, service during WW II. He married Eunice Irene Birkett, daughter of Charles M. Birkett and Florence B. Wren, on 24 June 1946 at Steamboat Springs, Routt Co., CO, Eunice was in the WAVES during WWII. She married Lawrence Gammill, who was recently discharged from the service. Best Man was brother, Carl Gammill; Maid of Honor was sister, Doris Birkett; Grandmother Emily Birkett; Grandmother (Eunice) Mrs. Ward Wren; brother Maurice Birkett, and cousins Gordon Wren and Everett Wren.

Lawrence H. Gammill, 86, of Golden, passed away Oct. 10, 2006
He was born Feb. 14, 1920, in Hayden, to Alexander and Lydia Gammill.
Lawrence was a longtime resident of Glenwood Springs in the '70s and '80s.
He is survived by daughter Cheryl Janicek of Littleton; sister Velma Helppie of Boise, Idaho; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Oct 17, at the Apsen Lakewood Chapel, 1350 Simms St. in Lakewood.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 17 at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.

He was buried in October 2006 at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Denver, Denver Co., CO.

     Leander van Fleet Gammill married Adelia California Adams.

     Loura Esther Gammill was born on 15 August 1913 at Colorado. She was the daughter of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Loura Esther Gammill married John Jackson before April 1935. Loura Esther Gammill lived in April 1940 at Oak Creek, Routt Co., CO. She died on 4 February 1977 at San Francisco Co., CA, at age 63.

     Velma Grace Gammill was born on 7 October 1917 at Hayden, Routt Co., CO. She was the daughter of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Velma Grace Gammill married Bernard N. Helppie, son of Andrew Helppie and Anna Mill, on 14 September 1940 at Yellowstone National Park, Park Co., WY. Velma Grace Gammill died circa 2011 at Boise, Ada Co., ID.

     Walter Homer Gammill was born on 12 October 1906 at Abbeville, Vermillion Par., LA. He was the son of Alexander Homer Gammill and Lydia Heazeltine. Walter Homer Gammill married Francesca Cardinale, daughter of Salvatore Cardinale and Anna Guccione, on 26 March at Albuquerque, Bernalillo Co., NM. Walter Homer Gammill died on 22 March 1993 at Boise, Ada Co., ID, at age 86. He was buried in March 1993 at Terrace Lawn Memorial Gardens, Boise, Ada Co., ID.

     Irene Louise Gammon was born on 14 August 1914 at Warrick Co., IN. She was the daughter of Shirley Humes Gammon and Nancy Florence Grissom. Irene Louise Gammon married George Leroy Taylor, son of David M. Taylor and Emma J. Wendell, circa 1937. Irene Louise Gammon and George Leroy Taylor were divorced. Irene Louise Gammon died in May 1978 at Vanderburgh Co. (probably), IN, at age 63 dates per SSDI, last residence Evansville. She was buried in 1978 at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery, Evansville, Vanderburgh Co., IN.

     Shirley Humes Gammon was born in 1874. He married Nancy Florence Grissom on 14 February 1895 at Warrick Co., IN. Shirley Humes Gammon died in 1946.

     Isaac Franklin Gander was born on 28 May 1830 at Page Co., VA. He married Elizabeth Burner, daughter of John Rhodes Burner and Elizabeth Strickler, on 15 February 1855 at Page Co., VA. Isaac Franklin Gander died on 15 February 1918 at Bunceton, Cooper Co., MO, at age 87.

     Mary Ellen Elizabeth Gander was born on 2 September 1867 at New Lebanon, Cooper Co., MO. She was the daughter of Isaac Franklin Gander. Mary Ellen Elizabeth Gander married Franklin Huffman Brumback, son of William Henry Brumback and Mary Susan Huffman, on 15 January 1902 at Bunceton, Cooper Co., MO. Mary Ellen Elizabeth Gander died on 20 January 1963 at Sedalia, Cooper Co., MO, at age 95.

     Rosalind B. Gandert was born on 7 June 1899 at Galion, Crawford Co., OH. She married Robert George Anderson Jr. on 4 February 1928 at Cuyahoga Co., OH. Rosalind B. Gandert died on 13 July 2002 at age 103.

     George Gandy was born on 15 December 1863 at Urbana, Champaign Co., IL.¹ He married Mary Jane Beigel circa 1893.¹ George Gandy died on 13 November 1943 at Gibson, Ford Co., IL, at age 79.      Ingeba Gandy was born on 27 January 1824 at Preston Co., VA (now WV). She married John Jones on 17 November 1851 at Indiana. Ingeba Gandy died on 3 March 1874 at Whitley Co., IN, at age 50. She was buried in March 1874 at Eel River Cemetery, Dunn Mill, Allen Co., IN, Findagrave #46157005.

     Mary M. Gandy was born on 2 November 1896 at Illinois. She was the daughter of George Gandy and Mary Jane Beigel.¹ Mary M. Gandy married Henry August Windle, son of William Grant Windle and Martha Rosette Bruner, circa 1921. Mary M. Gandy lived on 12 April 1930 at 1207 South Mason Street, Bloomington, McLean Co., IL, cleaning private homes. Marital status "M", but husband Henry not present. Both boys were listed in the household.² She died after April 1940 as of the 1940 census, Mary Windle, divorced, was listed as an inmate at the Illinois State Hospital, Limestone Twp., Peoria County. Her 1 APR 1935 address was Bloomington, McLean County, Illinois.

     Sarah Gandy was the daughter of William H. Gandy and Caroline (?) Sarah Gandy married Charles R. Ensor, son of George W. Ensor and Kathryn Albright, on 20 January 1922 at York, York Co., PA, Ceremony by Rev. Samuel E. Herring.¹

     William H. Gandy married Caroline (?).

     Anna Margareta Gangloff was born on 20 January 1887 at California; on the 1940 marriage license applcation, she gave her age as 40 and her name as "Margie".¹ She married Homer Mowrer Rhoad, son of Samuel Effinger Rhoad and Nora Mavis Brown, in January 1940 at San Francisco Co., CA; license issue reported in the 4 JAN 1940 edition of the Oakland Tribune, page 26D (Newspapers.com). Anna was first married to Joseph B. Crowe, and had a daughter Josephine Barbara (Crowe) Andersen (1909-1957) with him.

Anna Margareta Gangloff died on 14 September 1978 at Contra Costa Co., CA, at age 91. She was buried in September 1978 at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo Co., CA, Findagrave #87587267.

     Katherine Gangloff married Joseph Smith.

     Anna Charlotte Gangnagel was born on 31 October 1834 at Hesse, Germany; daughter of Mathias Martin and Catharine (Hohl) Gangnagel. She immigrated on 21 August 1850 to Port of New York, New York City, NY; with parents and siblings. She married Johannes Ort in 1867. Anna Charlotte Gangnagel died on 30 July 1920 at age 85.

     Ann Gangware was born circa 1830 at Virginia. She married James Gilmer, son of Thomas Gilmer and Mary (?), on 26 November 1849 at Rockingham Co., VA. Ann Gangware died after 1880.

     Jason Kyle Gann was born on 27 June 1980. He died in 1997.

     John Gannaway was born circa 1781 at Virginia.¹ He married Kisiah Bannier.
