     Vivian Estelle Garber was born on 20 September 1913 at Latah, Spokane Co., WA. She was the daughter of Robert Franklin Garber and Mary Susan Miller. Vivian Estelle Garber married Elmer Alfred Doty, son of Arthur Edward Doty and Ida May Mauck, on 4 August 1934. Vivian was the oldest of four children born to Robert and Mary Miller Garber. She grew up on a wheat farm and on many occasions cooked for the threshing crews as a young woman. She attended a one-room school house but then went on to graduate as Valedictorian of Latah High School in 1931. She was a 1933 graduate of Eastern Washington State University. On August 4, 1934, Vivian married Elmer Doty of Latah. She taught school for several years in Rosalia, Washington. In 1947 the Dotys founded Artcraft/Hallmark stores of Seattle and Everett, Washington. Vivian continued to teach in the Edmonds School District for 25 years. After retirement, the Dotys travels extensively, including Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 1994. The Dotys were charter members of Edmonds Christian Church ( Disciples). Vivian died due to complications of Alzheimers and failing health. She was predeceased by her husband, two sisters,and her brother. She was survived by her four children and their spouses, 12 grandchildren, at least 11 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

     Albert Herbert Garcia was born on 9 April 1913 at California.¹ He married Vivian Wachtrup, daughter of Arthur Louis Wachtrup and Addie Belle Ellis, on 1 July 1932 at Los Angeles Co., CA. Occupation: Automobile upholsterer in 1940.¹ Albert Herbert Garcia and Vivian Wachtrup were divorced after 1943. Albert Herbert Garcia died on 20 October 2004 at Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 91.

     Eleanor Garcia was born circa 1906 at Spain.¹ She was the daughter of Manuel Garcia and Acquilina (?)¹ Eleanor Garcia married Bernard Charles Ross, son of Henry Charles Ross and Ethelyn Gillian Larimore.

Phil is the son of Eliseo and Theresa Garcia. Phil was 16 when he was in WWI in 1915. Filbert was shot on his right side in his stomach. Phil was left behind. A friend of Phil's noticed that he was not back. And went to the Hospital to look for him. Phil was not there. Phil's friend asked where Phil was and they told him everyone was back from the mission. His friend waited until dark and went to look for Phil. He looked for a long time, then found Phil. He was hunt bad. Phil's friend carried him back to the Hospital. The Doctor said that Phil was lucky to be alive that if he stayed out there for a couple more hours he would have died. Phil was laying out in the field for over 16 hours. After Phil was released from the Hospital. And as he was being driven away the Hospital was bombed. After the War Phil was a Box Fighter, in 1919. After Phil stopped from fighting, he became a Box Fighting Manager. Phil Managed Joey Lopes. The Mafia came to Phil and told him to sign Joey over to them, Phil said no. The Mafia said that if he didn't they would kill his family. Phil then signed Joey over to the Mafia. Phil is in the Boxing Hall of Fame in Sacramento, California.

Juan Garcia, age 59, of Ottawa, Kansas, died Saturday, August 28, 2010. He was born on Thursday, November 2, 1950, in Ottawa, Kansas, the son of Eddie and Amelia (Garcia) Garcia.
He was a lifelong resident of Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas.
Juan graduated from Ottawa High School with the class of 1969.
He was employed thirty-four years for the Street, Bridge and Alley Division of Public Works for the City of Ottawa. He served as a reserve from 1975 to 1977 for the Ottawa Police Department and 1977 to 1985 for the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
He was a member of Sacred Heart Church and Aerie Lodge #2700, Fraternal Order of Eagles, both of Ottawa.
On January 10, 1976, Juan was united in marriage with Deanna Lynn "Dee" Bronson in Miami, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death October 1, 2000.

He is preceded in death by his: Wife - Dee Garcia on October 1, 2000; Father-Eddie Garcia on December 26,2006 and Mother - Amelia Garcia October 10,2005.
SERVICES: A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Ottawa at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2010.
IN STATE: Mr. Garcia will lie in state at the Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, where a Rosary will be said at 6:30 Thursday evening followed by family and friends visitation from 7:00 to 8:00.

Alfred Sherman Gardiner, 79, Venice, died July 27, 1996.
He was born May 11, 1917, in Evansville, Ind., and came to Venice 16 years ago from Cincinnati. A graduate of Antioch College and the University of Michigan medical school, he was a doctor and anesthesiologist at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. He was a captain in the Army medical corps during World War II. He was a member of Phi Rho Sigma Fraternity, Venice Gondolier Barbershop Chorus and the Venice Yacht Club. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charma; a daughter, Patricia Baloun of Cincinnati; three sons, William of Lake Clarke Shores, Michael of Lawrenceburg, Ind., and Frederick of Cincinnati; a sister, Mary Fontaine of Venice; and four grandchildren.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge.

     Patricia L. Gardiner was born on 20 November 1943. She was the daughter of Alfred Sherman Gardiner and Charma Turner. Patricia L. Gardiner died on 27 July 1997 at Hamilton Co. (probably), OH, at age 53.

     William Gardiner married Dr. Mildred Burdette White M.D., daughter of Sherman S. White and Blanche Larimore, on 27 December 1915. William Gardiner died on 15 December 1918.
