He lived on 6 April 1940 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ.¹ He married Dean Frances Parrish, Jesse remarried to Alma Vivian Pulls on 21 DEC 1956 in Molino, Audrain County, Missouri. Jesse Edgar Gipson lived in 1959 at Santa Fe, Monroe Co., MO, per his father's obituary. He died on 18 December 2007 at Columbia, Boone Co., MO, at age 84. He was buried in December 2007 at East Lawn Cemetery, Mexico, Audrain Co., MO, Findagrave #210220974.

     John Wesley Girdley was born circa 1853 at Indiana.¹ He married Sarrilda Frances Hamilton.¹

     Mahala Girdley was born on 26 February 1880 at Lawrence Co., IN.¹ She was the daughter of John Wesley Girdley and Sarrilda Frances Hamilton.¹ Mahala Girdley married Omer Edward Woodfill, son of James C. GEORGETOWN -- Mrs. Mahala Woodfill, 89, Nance's Corner, died at 11 a.m. Monday at Dunn memorial Hospital in Bedford. She was a native of Bedford.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Gehlbach and Royse Funeral Home here. Burial will be in Lanesville Cemetery.

     Dorothy H. Girt was born on 9 April 1911 at East Moline, Rock Island Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Harry Weldon Girt and Jessie Liston. Dorothy H. Girt married Donald Edwin Wright, son of Edwin Randolph Wright and Edith Nora Blue, circa May 1927 at Rock Island Co., IL, license issuance reported in the 31 MAY 1927 edition of The Rock Island Argus, page 9. Dorothy remarried twice, first to Coopman on DEC 1936, and later to Richard Johnson in 1947. She had a daughter, Bonnie Johnson, who married Denis D. Leftwich and lived at Moline, Illinois. Dorothy H. Girt and Donald Edwin Wright were divorced. Dorothy H. Girt died on 7 December 1989 at Moline, Rock Island Co., IL, at age 78. She was cremated.

     Harry Weldon Girt was born on 12 November 1875 at Davenport, Scott Co., IA. He married Jessie Liston on 11 April 1901 at Maquoketa, Jackson Co., IA. Harry Weldon Girt died on 20 February 1941 at Moline City Hospital, Moline, Rock Island Co., IL, at age 65.      Ethel May Gish was born on 17 December 1904. She married Randolph Ashley Wilmoth on 22 October 1924 at Farmville, Prince Edward Co., VA, Ceremony by Rev. R. M. White, Farmville Methodist Church. Ethel May Gish died on 7 August 2001 at age 96. She was buried in August 2001 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Rice, Prince Edward Co., VA, Findagrave #136387521.

     Jacob Monroe Gish was born on 8 April 1899 at Duncannon, Perry Co., PA.¹ He was the son of Samuel Milton Gish and Elizabeth Adeline Smith.^1,2 Jacob Monroe Gish began military service WW I service, U.S. Army, Co. "H", 139th Infantry, France. He ended military service on 4 April 1919. He married Helen Josephine Wesler, daughter of Joseph Pennypacker Wesler and Anna Newton, on 19 February 1923. Jacob Monroe Gish died on 29 October 1980 at Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 81 Dates per SSDI, last residence Los Angeles. He was buried in November 1980 at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Neosho, Newton Co., MO, Findagrave #22869712.

     Joseph Milton Gish was born on 13 July 1924 at Neosho, Newton Co., MO.¹ He was the son of Jacob Monroe Gish and Helen Josephine Wesler.¹ Joseph Milton Gish died on 15 July 2011 at Fredericksburg, Gillespie Co., TX, at age 87 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Joe was born to Helen Josephine (Wesler) and Jacob Monroe Gish the first of 6 children. Joe had 5 sisters, Barbara, Marilyn, Beverly, Virginia, and Patricia.
Joe's dream of having a museum some day was realized in December of 1986, when he and his wife, Charlene, settled in Fredericksburg, TX. Joe had had a log cabin build after purchasing a lot in town in 1980. They then had their home built next to it and settled in to a wonderful life in the hill country.
Joe enjoyed serving community and church. He was an active member of Saint Barnabas Episcopal Church, Pedernales Creative Arts Alliance, The Former Texas Rangers Foundation, and Curator of Gish's Old West Museum.

He was buried in July 2011 at Saint Barnabas Episcopal Columbarium, Fredericksburg, Gillespie Co., TX, Findagrave #76254543.

     Samuel Milton Gish was born on 26 May 1869 at Pennsylvania.¹ He married Elizabeth Adeline Smith on 18 February 1896 at Perry Co., PA. Samuel Milton Gish died on 14 June 1955 at Santa Ana, Orange Co., CA, at age 86.

     Ervin Gist was born circa 1903 at Missouri. He was the son of A. R. Gist and Minnie Belle (?)¹ Ervin Gist began military service on 24 February 1918 Overseas during WWI from 16 SEP 1918 to 29 SEP 1919.¹ He ended military service on 11 October 1919.¹ He married Myrtle Alice Kern, daughter of Samuel P. Kern and Mary G. Haldeman, on 15 September 1920 at Hooker, Texas Co., OK, Ceremony by Rev. J. G. Parsons.¹ Ervin Gist lived in 1930 at Texhoma, Texas Co., OK, Census sheet 8A.

     Juel Leon Gist was born in May 1924.¹ He was the son of Ervin Gist and Myrtle Alice Kern.¹

     Mary Gist married Joshua Pennington, son of Richard Pennington and Hannah Morgan Boone, on 20 February 1806.

     George Gitchel married Mary (?).

     Myrta S. Gitchel was born circa 1909 at Kansas. She was the daughter of George Gitchel and Mary (?) Myrta S. Gitchel married John William Heazeltine, son of Roswell Heazeltine and Jessie Green, on 8 August 1926. Myrta S. Gitchel died on 2 October 1965 at Wichita Co., TX.
