Johnson on 7 January 1921. Ada Mae Hoover died on 30 April 1988 at Mt. Sterling, Madison Co., OH, at age 88 Per Lawrence Johnson:
Ada worked at Children's Hospital when she was 18 and 19 years of age, as a nurse's aid. Children's Hospital at that time was located at the southeast corner of Franklin Park South and Miller Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. She and Edith Wolford roomed together at the corner of Oak and Miller Avenues.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday 1:30 p.m. at the Porter Funeral Home Mt. Sterling. Interment Harrison Township Cemetery at South Bloomfield. Friends amy call at the funeral home Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
