     Betty Jo Henson was born on 23 January 1931 at Goose Creek, Harris Co., TX.1 She was the daughter of Walter Turner Henson and Margaret Ella Cook.1 Betty Jo Henson married Frank Nelson Davalt, son of Samuel Oral Davalt and Nancy Maude Johnson, on 25 February 1955. GALVESTON —Betty Jo Davalt, a longtime resident of Galveston, passed away at her home surrounded by family on November 1, 2012. Betty Jo was born on January 23, 1931 in Goose Creek, Texas.

She is survived by her daughter, Ella Falkenberg and husband Gary; son, Frankie Davalt; grandchildren, Nelson Davis, Roy Davis, Opal Davis and Jennifer Fiesel; great grandchildren, Michael Fiesel, Roy Davis, Jr., Shane Davis, and Devon Fiesel. Close family also include Arturo Medina and Mike Fiesel.

She will be dearly missed. Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Woodlawn Garden of Memories Cemetery in Houston, Texas under the direction of Heights Funeral Home.

Evelyn Henson married Billie Robert Miller, son of William Toy Miller and De Cuba Galloway. Evelyn Henson died on 5 June 2014 at age 85 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Evelyn "Toodie" Feathers, 85, died on Thursday, June 5, 2014. Born in Bluff City, TN she was the daughter of Lucy Webb Henson and Thomas J. Henson. Toodie lived in Manchester and Hillsboro for many years, returning to live in Kingsport in 1999. She grew up in the Bluff City United Methodist Church and attended Airport Christian Church in recent years.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Billie R. Miller, three sisters and one brother.

Toodie is survived by her husband, Earl Lee Feathers, Sr. of Kingsport; daughters, Jim and Jean Miller Plecker of Pelham, AL, and Skip and Ann Miller Skipper of Greeneville, TN; son, Roger Miller of Estill Springs, TN; stepchildren, Sandy and Joe Barker, Donald and Cindy Feathers, Robert "Bob" and Jenny Feathers, and Earl Feathers, Jr., two grandchildren, Adam Plecker and Lauren Miller; nieces and nephews, Harriet Masters, Cynda Brooks, Ben C. Brewer and Lyle Henson; and seven step-grandchildren, Teresa Prater, Logan Barker, Jody Barker, Mindy Feathers, Samuel Feathers, Lauren Feathers and Rebecca Feathers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday from 2-4:00 pm at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be conducted on Sunday at 2:00 pm at Morning View Cemetery with Mr. David Ensminger officiating.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Stewart, John Austrey, R. Fred Smith, Bill Bryant, Bill Harwood, Charles Rutledge, Roger Brooks, Bill Webb, Lee Magness

Benjamin Henton

M, b. 9 June 1793, d. 28 March 1863
     Note: Benjamin Henton, fourth child of Thomas Henton and Sarah Tallman, accompanied his parents from Virginia to Adams County, Ohio in 1804, later to Franklin County and thence to Highland County. In 1817 he went to Fayette County, Ohio where he began practicing medicine. In 1820 he was elected to the Ohio State Legislature from Fayette County and was appointed a delegate to the convention that nominated General Jackson for President in 1824. Dr. Henton served as treasurer of Fayette County for twelve years. In 1829 he became a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. Many of the family have been adherents of that faith, especially among the older branches. Thomas, Benjamin's father, was notably zealous therein. Dr. Henton took his family to Peru, Indiana in 1837 where his medical practice soon spread over Miami and adjoining counties. He was elected to the Indiana State Senate in 1850, to the House of Representatives in 1845, and again to the House in 1853. He served in the War of 1812 in Capt. James Wilson's Company of Ross County, Ohio during September and October of 1812, and in Capt. Hugh Roger's Company in July and August of 1813. Benjamin Henton was born on 9 June 1793 at Rockingham Co., VA. He was the son of Thomas Henton and Sarah Tallman. Benjamin Henton married Rachel Stinson, daughter of Robert Stinson and Elizabeth Harrod, on 17 April 1821 at Washington Court House, Fayette Co., OH. Benjamin Henton died on 28 March 1863 at Peru, Miami Co., IN, at age 69.
