Barrick and Catherine (?), circa 1892, 1900 census indicates 5 children born, 4 living; however, Carl Hall, born August 1887 is shown as a "step son". Probably Rowena lost an infant in the three years between Mabel and Robert, or else during the months before the census.3 Rowena May Hall lived in 1930 at Centerburg, Knox Co., OH.

Sigourney Gertrude Hall was also known as "Annie".2,1 She was born on 20 June 1862 at Warren Co. (probably), VA, per the Findagrave.com memorial. 1900 census shows JUN 1863. Daughter of Christian David and Minerva Jane (Minnick) Hall. Christian and Minerva had an older daughter, Ann E. Hall, born about 1853, who was listed on the 1860 and 1870 censuses. The daughter later known as "Annie" and also as "Grace" appears to have been the daughter listed on the 1870 census as Sigourney, age 8. Perhaps she did not care for her unusual (at that time) name, and asked to be called other things.
