     Nathan Wylie Horn was born in March 1830 at Illinois.1 He married Barbara M. Wendell, daughter of William D. Wendell and Effie Margaret DeLong, at Logan or Mason Co., IL, no children. 1900 census, for Barbara shows one child born, still living, but this cannot have been correct unless it was referring to an adopted child. 1870 and 1880 censuses show no children born to Barbara and her first husband William Tauberman, and the only child present in the Horn household in 1900 was Della, age 20, daughter of Nathan Wylie Horn and his first wife, who can be found as an infant in the 1880 census.
