     Bertha J. (?) was born in 1887 at Kansas Father's birthplace Indiana, mother's birthplace Tennessee.¹ She married Dallas Avery Burton on 1 December 1906 at Mano, Barry Co., MO.¹ Bertha J. (?) and Dallas Avery Burton were divorced before April 1940. Bertha J. (?) married (?) Donegan before April 1940.
Note: One online genealogy shows her maiden name as "Crabrill", however there is no evidence of such a surname in Kansas or Missouri in the 1880s. She reported her birth location as Kansas, and her father's as Indiana -- there are many "Crabill", "Craybill", "Crable", etc. surnames from Indiana, mostly descended of the Krahenbuehl German immigrant to Colonial Virginia. But I cannot determine who her parents actually were. DLB 2013.

     Bertha S. (?) was born on 11 March 1899 at Iowa both parents born Norway, per 1930 census.¹ She married Robert Craig Boyd, son of James Craig Boyd and Mabel May Shirer. Bertha S. (?) died on 21 May 1995 at Louisville, Jefferson Co., KY, at age 96 dates per SSDI.


Note: Bertha may well have been the daughter of Nels C. and Oleana Sandvold, natives of Norway. Their daughter Bertha was born in March, 1899 at Monona County (probably), Iowa, and appears to have been a graduate of Iowa State University class of 1923, consistent with the 1930 and 1940 census information. DLB 2014.
