Mrs. Schooley was born March 30, 1922, at New Blaine, Ark., to Raymond and Annie Harrison.
She lived in Coffeyville for most of her adult life. She was employed for several years in the men's department at Read's Department Store.
She married William Schooley on Jan. 26, 1946, at Coffeyville.
Survivors include her husband, William Schooley; a daughter, Kathy Garbo, St. Charles, Mo., and a son, Richard Schooley of Coffeyville.
Mrs. Schooley was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
Graveside services are 2 p.m. Saturday at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday, and from 8 a.m. until noon Saturday, at Graves Funeral Home.
She was buried in May 2000 at Restlawn Memorial Park, Coffeyville, Montgomery Co., KS.

H. Brewer's, where she had been spending the day. In company with another young lady, she left Mr B's in the evening, when one of the horses took fright and started to run and then the other followed at rapid speed. Miss Harrison was thrown from her horse, her skuill fractured and one of her arms broken in 2 places. Drs. Williams and Rust were called in and dressed the wounds. It is thought that her injuries will prove fatal. The other lady succeeded in getting her foot out of the stirrup, and just as her horse was passing an embankment, she jumped off, escaping with only a slight bruise on her hands."
