     Edward Everett Hawkins was born on 9 May 1907. He was the son of Edward Hawkins and Isa Miles. Edward Everett Hawkins married Minnie Bell Mitchell on 27 December 1920. Edward Everett Hawkins died on 8 June 1929 at age 22.

     Elizabeth Hawkins was born on 16 December 1824 at Hampshire Co., VA. She was the daughter of Joseph Hawkins and Sarah Larimore. Elizabeth Hawkins died on 20 June 1867 at Knox Co., OH, at age 42.

     Elizabeth Ann Hawkins was also known as "Lizzie". She was born on 31 August 1879. She was the daughter of James Knox Hawkins and Theresa Maria Coe. Elizabeth Ann Hawkins married Aubrey Silas Jagger on 18 November 1899.

     Elizabeth C. Hawkins was born on 7 October 1819 at Preble Co., OH; daughter of Benjamin Worthington and Ruth T. (Sellers) Hawkins. She married Thomas Leech Gilmore, son of Thomas H. Gilmore and Margaret Leech, on 6 May 1839 at Putnam Co. (probably), IN. Elizabeth C. Hawkins lived on 19 September 1850 at Washington Twp., Putnam Co., IN.¹ She married James Irwin Gilmore, son of James Gilmore and Emma Elizabeth Ramsey, on 4 September 1855 at Putnam Co., IN; Elizabeth Hawkins' two Gilmore husbands were first cousins -- both were grandsons of William and Martha (Lackey) Gilmore. Elizabeth C. Hawkins lived on 24 July 1860 at Washington Twp., Putnam Co., IN, farming, husband not included on the census listing.² She died circa 11 May 1901 at Beaver City, Furnas Co., NE,

Obituary
Mrs. Elizabeth Hawkins Gilmore was born in Pueblo (sic) county, Ohio, October 7, 1819. She moved with her parents to Indiana in 1832 where she remained until she came to Furnas county in 1880. In 1888 she moved to Colorado, where she made her home until May 1900 when she returned to Beaver City to live.

In 1839 she was married to Thomas F. Gilmore, and from this marriage eight children were born, of whom five are living, three daughters and two sons; three in Indiana, one in Iowa, and one in California. September 4, 1855, she was married to J. L. Gilmore, who survives her. From this marriage four children were born, three of them now living, Mrs. Lundy, of Burlington, Colo; Mrs. Thomas, of Greenup, Ill; and Thomas Edgar, of Beaver City. At the early age of 13 she joined the Presbyterian church in Indiana, and when she came to Furnas county she joined the Presbyterian church of Beaver City. But when she went to Colorado, there being no Presbyterian church near her home, she joined the Methodist church, and from that church brought her letter to the Presbyterian church here when she came back to make her home in Beaver City.

For nearly seventy years she had been a member of a christian church, and in her 82nd year has been transferred from the church militant to the church triumphant. This is a mere outline of a life for more than four score years. It cost a great deal of all that can be put into a christian life to pass through those years as she did, in four states and under varied circumstances incident to life in a new country.

The funeral service was held at the house Sunday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. W. H. Miller, and Rev. A. C. Corbin of the Christian church. She had lived a faithful christian life and in her death was fulfilled the scripture, “Thou shalt come to the grave in a full age like a shock of corn cometh in his season.”.

     Elsmor Lloyd Hawkins was born on 1 May 1902 at Wilson Co., TX. He was the son of Clint Hawkins and Lenora Hobbs. Elsmor Lloyd Hawkins died on 13 June 1965 at Pecos Co., TX, at age 63. He was buried in June 1965 at Plainview, Hale Co., TX.

     Emma Hawkins was born on 24 February 1862 at Lock, Knox Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Hawkins and Mary Ann McClees. Emma Hawkins married Frank Lane on 25 December 1887.

     Eva Alice Hawkins was born on 22 August 1910. She was the daughter of Burton Hawkins and Della May Wenger.

     Florence Hawkins was born in September 1895 at Indiana. She married Usher King, son of John Owen King and Nettie May Abbott, circa 1917; no children, per divorce decree. Florence remarried to J. Byers Hunley in 1933 at Edwards County, Illinois, and was living with him at St. Louis, Missouri as of the April 1940 federal census, No further record found. Florence Hawkins and Usher King were divorced on 11 April 1933 at Garland, Miller Co., AR; ; granted to Usher, based on absence.

     Florence Marie Hawkins married Ernest William Conard, son of Joseph Atwell Conard and Ada Florence Wilt, on 30 August 1941. Florence Marie Hawkins died on 20 April 1991.

     Floy Ellen Hawkins was born on 7 August 1907 at Wilson Co., TX. She was the daughter of Clint Hawkins and Lenora Hobbs. Floy Ellen Hawkins married Harrison Caple, son of Charles Newton Caple and Mary Elizabeth Moore, on 4 March 1928. Floy Ellen Hawkins died on 20 June 1982 at Farmington, San Juan Co., NM, at age 74.

     Forest Leon Hawkins was born on 23 September 1905. He was the son of Burton Hawkins and Della May Wenger.

     Forrest Hempstead Hawkins was born on 3 March 1913 at Lancaster, Lancaster Co., PA.¹ He was the son of William S. Hawkins and Sara Boone Smith.

     Francis Howard Hawkins was born on 27 January 1894. He was the son of James Knox Hawkins and Theresa Maria Coe. Francis Howard Hawkins married Clara Etta McCowen on 17 November 1920.

     Frank Larimore Hawkins married Ella Harrison. Frank Larimore Hawkins was born on 23 April 1864 at Lock, Knox Co., OH. He was the son of Joseph Hawkins Jr. and Sarah Ann Leah Tripp.

     Franklin Hawkins was born on 15 March 1863 at Tazewell Co., IL, Illinois death index shows 15 MAR 1867, which is totally inconsistent with his listing as age 7 in the 9 AUG 1870 federal census -- moreover, his mother would have been approximately 46 years old in March, 1867. DLB 2022.¹ He was the son of John Hawkins and Charlotte Temple Larimore. Franklin Hawkins died on 6 June 1933 at Mackinaw, Tazewell Co., IL, at age 70. He was buried in June 1933 at Woodrow Cemetery, Cincinnati Twp., Tazewell Co., IL, Findagrave #85040585.

     Gertrude Hawkins was born in August 1878 at Mt. Liberty, Knox Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Charles Oscar Hawkins and Ella B. Snyder. Gertrude Hawkins married Stanley B. Kile, son of Jesse Kile and Martilla Cotton Barrick, circa 1900.² Gertrude Hawkins lived in April 1910 at Liberty Twp., Knox Co., OH.³ She lived in January 1920 at Liberty Twp., Knox Co., OH.

     Harriet Hawkins was born on 19 November 1817 at Hampshire Co., VA. She was the daughter of Joseph Hawkins and Sarah Larimore. Harriet Hawkins died on 12 November 1859 at Knox Co., OH, at age 41.

     Harriet Hawkins was born in 1836 at Knox Co., OH. She was the daughter of John Hawkins and Charlotte Temple Larimore. Harriet Hawkins married William Miller on 31 January 1856 at J. M. Bush, J.P., Tazewell Co., IL. Harriet Hawkins married William Edgar Wigger on 5 April 1860 at J. C. McKasson, J.P., Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL; After Harriet's death, William remarried to Elizabeth Shay and had several children, one of whom was Clarence C. Wigger who married John's widow Emma Wigger in 1920. Harriet Hawkins died on 6 February 1862 at Tazewell Co., IL. She was buried on 8 February 1862 at Old Sand Prairie Cemetery, South Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL, Findagrave #45849893.

     Harriet Hawkins was the daughter of John William Hawkins.

     Harris Hawkins was born on 15 March 1788 at Smithfield (probably), Providence Co., RI. He married Phebe Lovell circa 1817 at Providence Co. (probably), RI. Harris Hawkins died on 13 July 1865 at Milford Twp., Knox Co., OH, at age 77. He was buried in July 1865 at Five Corners - Disney Cemetery, Knox Co., OH, Findagrave #82046346.
