Isabell Haycock Duncombe Chinoweth was a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and a friend to all. Isabell passed away at the age of 83 on March 31, 2008 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on March 23, 1925 in Escalante, UT to James Arthur Haycock (deceased) and Alice Spencer Haycock (deceased). She later married William E. Duncombe (deceased) on November 13, 1945 and raised three children. They later divorced. Isabell then married the love of her life Harry Chinoweth (deceased). Isabell enjoyed 25 years working at the Hotel Utah and Westin Hotels as the head of housekeeping. During her time at the Hotel Utah, Isabell met many people such as Presidents of the United States, celebrities like Elvis Presley, Presidents of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Apostles of the Church. Isabell is survived by her three children, her son, Dean (ReNae) Duncombe (West Valley City, UT), whom she lived with, her daughter, Beth and Brennen (grandson) Spencer (Kearns, UT), and her son, Ron (Marilyn) Duncombe (Chino, CA). She has 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and one sister-in-law, Renea Fontenot. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Haycock, twelve brothers and sisters, one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter. The family would like to thank the staff of Majestic Care Center and the staff of Inspiration Hospice for their time and care that was provided to Isabell. A special thank you to Dr. Mark D. Johnson, who was Isabell's physician for many years. Isabell will be greatly missed and always loved by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 E. 700 S., Salt Lake City. Funeral Services Held Wednesday At Wayne
Mrs. Mary Thuman, 74, Anamosa, died Sunday, Oct. 9, at an Iowa City hospital, where she had been a patient for ten days.
Funeral services, were held Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. at Wayne Zion Lutheran church. Burial was in Oakwood cemetery, Monticello. Goettsch Funeral home, Anamosa, was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included John August, Carl Husman, Allan Siebels, Louie Hayen and Lawrence Rieken.
She was bon Feb. 9, 1886, daughter of Henry and Catherine Harms Hayen, Wayne township.Jones County. She was married to Carl H. Thuman, May 2, 1905. Couple farmed in Wayne township and near Amber until Mr. Thuman's death in 1931.
Since her husband's death she had lived at Fairview and had been employed as a housekeeper for Chris Bendixen, Anamosa, for the last several years.
Survivors include three daughters, Gladys, Mrs. Phillip DeWitt, Clinton; Hattie, Mrs. John Grant, Anamosa; and Lorene, Mrs. Melvin Skalsky, Mechanicsville; and one son, Willis Thuman, Stone City.
Other survivors include three sisters, Meta Hedden, Mrs. William Reiken and Mrs. Rudy Tobiassen, all of Monticello; and two brothers, John Hayen and Henry Hayen both of Monticello; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.

Surviving are her husband; one son, John Kenneth Ingram of Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Carol Williams of Morton; one brother, Budy Hayes of Peoria; and three sisters, Mrs. Marcine Behrends and Mrs. Ileen Smothers, both of Peoria, and Mrs. Thelma Ackerman of Morton.
She worked at Employers Mutual Insurance Co. 23 years, retiring in 1974. She then worked as a bookkeeper at Gregg Florist.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Lloyd K. (Cecil E.) Ingram, 71, of 5011 Prospect Road died yesterday in St. Francis Hospital.

He married Tenna Pearl Larimore, daughter of William Henry Larimore and Mary Arminda Riley, on 16 February 1929 at Mount Venon, Knox Co., OH, Chester and Tenna were married in the parsonage of the Vine St. Church of Christ in Mount Vernon, OH. Tenna's mother, Mary Larimore witnessed the ceremony. Chester Arthur Hayes died on 26 November 1965 at Newark, Licking Co., OH, at age 60. In the 1940 census she is listed as Henrietta.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and had received the Purple Heart. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 25, Rock Island, for over 70 years. He had worked for Brasher and Collins, Rock Island, and Moline Heating. He was plumbing inspector with the state of Illinois and inspector for the city of Rock Island before retiring. He had been an active member of the Rock Island Lions.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Hayes, Moline; daughter, Patricia Dennis, Milan; grandchildren, Randy (Donna) Dennis, Douglas (Ranell) Dennis and Kris (Paul) Geiger, all of Milan; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Peggy (Larry) Hufford, Hillsdale, Yvonne (Richard) Stauffer, Pittsfield, Ill., Louise Schaver, Bloomington, Ill., and Henry (Shirley) Timbrook Jr., Colona; eight step-grandchildren; 14 stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepgreat-great-granddaughter.
