Swigert, daughter of Philip Swigert and Jane Love Watson, on 4 August 1853 at Franklin Co., KY, Four children born, two living as of 1900 census.¹ Occupation: Presbyterian minister in 1860 at Frankfort, Franklin Co., KY.² Rev. John Reed Hendrick died on 28 November 1881 at Frankfort, Franklin Co., KY, at age 54.

     Lewis C. Hendrick was born on 25 June 1835 at Saratoga Co., NY.¹ He married Catherine L. Herald on 27 October 1863 at Carroll Co., IL. Lewis C. Hendrick lived on 14 June 1880 at Wysox Twp., Carroll Co., IL, farming.¹ He died on 20 May 1891 at Carroll Co., IL, at age 55

Obituary -- (Findagrave.com):

"LEWIS HENDRICK whose death was recorded in last week's Freeport Press, was born in Saratoga Co. N. Y., June 25, 1835. Thirty or more years ago he came to this part of Illinois. He was married to Catharine Herald, Oct. 27th, 1863. There were born to them 4 children - 3 sons, 1 daughter, During the revival of 1870-71, conducted by the Rev. J. Wardle, he was led to see himself a sinner, in need of salvation. He then yielded himself to Christ, and united with the M. E. church, of which he remained a member until his death. Sept. 12, 1888, his wife died, since which time Mr. Hendrick, was alone with one little boy (article not complete)"

Dubbel and Elma Arnold, on 24 June 1908 at Spink Co., SD, After Iva's death, Carlton remarried to Mary Elizabeth Partridge (1896 - 1992) in 1925 and had two additional children with her.¹ Dr. Lewis Carlton Hendrick lived between 1917 and 1926 at Milbank, Grant Co., SD, WW I draft registration and Wanger book. Occupation: Dentist. He was Church of the Brethren. He died on 3 January 1949 at Milbank, Grant Co., SD, at age 66. He was buried in January 1949 at Milbank Cemetery, Milbank, Grant Co., SD, Findagrave #133623223.
