Samantha Jane Henton married James Heagler, son of Zebediah W. Heagler and Rose Ann Groves, on 15 August 1850 at Fayette Co., OH. Samantha Jane Henton lived on 22 July 1860 at Martin Twp., McLean Co., IL, farming.² She lived on 28 June 1870 at Martin Twp., McLean Co., OH, farming.³ She died on 4 August 1900 at McLean, McLean Co., IL, at age 70. Henton lived on 16 June 1880 at Martin Twp., McLean Co., IL, farming.³ He lived on 1 June 1900 at North Main Street, Arrowsmith, McLean Co., IL, Landlord.² He died after 16 January 1920 at McLean Co., IL.

Samuel Sylvester Henton married Maria Bennett, daughter of Isaac Bennett and Sarah Ann Morris, on 27 August 1867 at Highland Co., OH. Samuel Sylvester Henton lived on 10 June 1870 at Cedar Twp., Knox Co., IL, farm laborer.² He lived on 14 June 1880 at Liberty Twp., Highland Co., OH, farming.¹ He died in 1905.      Sarah Henton was born on 18 February 1811 at Highland Co., OH. She was the daughter of Thomas Henton and Sarah Tallman. Sarah Henton married Benjamin Brooks, son of William Brooks and Elizabeth Stitt, on 22 October 1829 at Highland Co., OH. Sarah Henton died on 19 July 1842 at Bethel, Morgan Co., IL, at age 31. Cause of death: on 19 July 1842 Struck by lightning at Bethel, Illinois.

     Sylvester Henton was born on 1 September 1807 at Canal Winchester, Franklin Co., OH. He was the son of Thomas Henton and Sarah Tallman. Sylvester Henton married Sarah Saunders on 7 January 1834 at Peru, Miami Co., IN. Thomas and Sarah Henton went to the west fork of Brush Creek in Virginia about 1803. In 1804 they settled on a farm near Hillsboro, Ohio, where he died 1 July 1829. About 1842, the widow, Sarah (Tallman) Henton removed to Peru, Indiana, after the arrival of there of her sons, Benjamin, Sylvester, Thomas and Elam.
