Ethel Hoover. Ethel V. Hoover, 84, of Circleville died Tuesday afternoon at Berger Hospital. Born January 17, 1900 in Waverly, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ellen LeFever. She was retired dietary worker at Berger Hospital, and a member of South Bloomfield United Methodist Church; Saltcreek Valley Grange, Pomona Grange, State Grange and Majors Temple 516, Pythian Sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 1976, one son , Harold, and two brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Thompson, and Mrs. Dale (Helen) Swackhammer, both of Circleville, Mrs. Donald (Martha) Ensign of Spencer; two sons, Donald of Columbus and Jonas of Carroll; one sister, Avanelle Buck of Lakeview; one brother, Merle LeFever of Urbana; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Welman Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Flowers and the Rev. Ray Mann officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery.
Pythian Sisters services will be held 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was buried in November 1984 at Harrison Twp. Cemetery, South Bloomfield, Pickaway Co., OH.

Agnew C. (Pat) LeFevre, 84 of Port Orchard died Feb 2 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton.
He was born Dec. 14, 1912, in Sebring, Ohio, where he was raised and educated. He married Virginia LeFevre in 1942 in St. Augustine, Fla.
LeFevre was an infantryman in the Army during World War II.
He worked as a plumber for 50 years.
Survivors include his wife; sons Thomas and Richard, both of Florida; a daughter, Kathleen of Utah; and 11 grandchildren.

JOSEPH H. LEFEVRE - Attorney at law, Littlestown, was borm on Union Township, this county, March 7, 1839 and is son of Enoch LeFevre, who is mentioned elsewhere in this volume. Joseph H. finished his education at Franklin and Marshall College, Lancaster City, Penn., and graduated from that institution in the class of 1863. He then read law with Hon. D. McConaughy, of Gettysburg, Penn., was admitted to the bar in 1867, and began to practice at Littlestown. A few years afterward he moved to Pittsburgh, and became interested in the shoe business; he continued the same until 1876, when he returned to Littlestown, and here has since resided, and followed his profession. He is a decided temperance man; politically a Republican. He was elected a justice of the peace in 1879, and served five years. May 18, 1878 he married Julia C. Gutelius, a daughter of Samuel Gutelius, of this county. They have two children; Jeannette and Cecil. Mr. LeFevre is a member of the Reformed Church, of Littlestown, and was the prime mover in making the Littlestown congregation an independent charge, separating it from Christ Church February 8, 1881. Since that time he has been deacon in the Redeemer's Reformed Church.

Joseph Henry LeFevre was born on 7 March 1839 at Union Twp., Adams Co., PA. He was the son of Enoch LeFevre and Catherina W. Shriver. Joseph Henry LeFevre married Julia C. Gutelius, daughter of Samuel Andrew Gutelius and Lucinda Mary LeFevre, on 5 May 1877. Joseph Henry LeFevre died on 14 July 1915 at Hanover, York Co., PA, at age 76. He was buried in July 1915 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Littlestown, Adams Co., PA.
