     John B. G. Hill was born in 1903. He was the son of Francis Marion Hill and Mary Magdalene Crates. John B. G. Hill married Elizabeth (?).

     Maj. John Fitz Hill was born on 14 February 1922 at Washington, D.C.. He was the son of Jesse F. Hill and Ellenora McMullen Fitz. Maj. John Fitz Hill began military service WW II and Korean War service, Major, U.S. Air Force. He died on 13 April 1980 at age 58

John F. Hill

John Fitz Hill, 52, Hillcrest Drive, died Sunday at his home.

Born in Washington, D.C., he was a son of Ellenora McMullen Fitz Hill, resident of Golden Age Nursing Home, Frederick St., and the late Jesse Hill.

He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church, McCost St., and was a major in the air force in World War II and the Korean War. he was a graduate of Haverford College and did graduate work at RPI, Troy, N.Y. He taught engineering at RPI and later was in charge of gas turbine research and development for General Electric at Schenectady, N.Y. Upon arrival in Hanover, he was employed at the former Fitz Water Wheel Co. until his retirement.

Surviving in addition to his mother, is a sister, Mrs. George (Eleanor) Hill Greening, 30 Mistletoe Drive, Matawan, N.J.

He was a nephew of the late J.S. Fitz, formerly president of Peoples Bank and Fitz Water Wheel Co.

The funeral will be at the Panebaker Funeral Home, 311 Broadway, Saturday at 1 p.m. with his pastor, Rev. Frederic G. Stevenson, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There will be no viewing.

Contributions may be made to the All Saints Episcopal Church or the Visiting Nurse Association, 217 Broadway.

     June Lynette Hill was born on 18 June 1920 at Ontario, San Bernardino Co., CA. She was the daughter of Newcomb Augustus Hill and Lynette Burnell. June Lynette Hill married Capt. Adelbert Ray Evers, son of Adelbert Donald Evers and Elizabeth Swadener, in 1941. June Lynette Hill died on 2 January 2012 at age 91.      Kathryn June Hill was born on 21 September 1931 at Fairfield Co., OH. She was the daughter of Hamlin Leslie Hill and Freda Genevieve Alten. Kathryn June Hill married Clyde Edson Creiglow, son of Harley Carlton Creiglow and Effie E. Stebelton, on 1 September 1951 at Fairfield Co., OH. Kathryn June Hill died on 25 August 2012 at Brawley, Imperial Co., CA, at age 80 Obituary (Findagrave.com):

Kathryn (Katie) Creiglow went to be with the Lord on August 25, 2012. Katie was born on September 21, 1931 in Fairfield County, Ohio; she moved to Brawley with her husband and 3 sons in 1958.

A memorial service will be held September 8th at 10:30 a.m. at Central Baptist Church in El Centro.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Clyde Creiglow.

She is survived by her sons Jay, Paul and Jeff and their wives, 16 grandchildren and 15 great- grandchildren.

     Lela L. Hill was born in 1894. She was the daughter of Francis Marion Hill and Mary Magdalene Crates.

     Lester Paul Hill was born on 25 July 1913 at Guernsey Co., OH. He was the son of James Henry Hill and Nettie Rada Miller. Lester Paul Hill married Edith Elizabeth Brown, daughter of Wilse Bewick Newton Slater Brown and Margaret Ellen Davis, on 30 April 1931 at Ohio Co., WV. Lester Paul Hill died on 28 January 1980 at Cambridge, Guernsey Co., OH, at age 66

Lester Paul Hill Sr., 66, of 452 N. Sixth St., died at 2:10 p.m. Monday (Jan. 28, 1980) at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following a nine - month illness. He had been a Ford mechanic for many years.

He was born July 25, 1913, on Larrick's Ridge, son of James H. and Nettie Miller Hill. He was a member of Canton Baptist Temple and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Byesville, and North Salem Community Church. He was known to his CB friends as "The Ford Man".

He leaves his wife, Edith Elizabeth Brown Hill, whom he married April 30, 1931, and 20 nieces and nephews. A son, Lester Paul Hill II, died July 2, 1949. Three brothers and a sister are also deceased.

Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Scott - Atkinson Funeral Home.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1:30 p.m. form North Salem Community Church by the Rev. Llewellyn Thompson, the Rev. Kenneth Pugh and the Rev. Kenneth Fuller. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Last rites for Lester Paul Hill, Jr., 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hill, 515 Garfield ave., will be conducted Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Second Baptist church by the pastor, Rev. Marshall Harper and Rev. Llewellyn Thompson, Methodist minister of Adamsville. Interment will be in Northwood cemetery.

The youth, who would have been a junior in Central high school next fall, died Saturday evening in White Cross hospital, Columbus, where he had undergone surgery six weeks ago. He was dismissed to his home following the operation and was readmitted there last Tuesday.

The boy was born Feb. 6, 1932 and was a member of the Second Baptist church. Surviving in addition to his parents are his grandparents, Mrs. Nettie Hill, of the home and Wilse Brown, of Cambridge.

The body was taken to the home Monday evening from Corwin funeral home.

     Marian C. Hill was born circa November 1918 at Champaign Co. (probably), IL.¹ She was the daughter of Albert Benjamin Hill and Myrtle Edna Peterson.¹

     Marjorie Evelyn Hill was born on 13 May 1907 at St. Francisville, Clark Co., MO.¹ She was the daughter of William B. Hill and Ada Alice Stump.¹ Marjorie Evelyn Hill married Clarence Francis Hamner, son of Charles Francis Hamner and Mary Ann (?), on 26 November 1932, no children. Marjorie Evelyn Hill died after February 1959 at Lee Co., IA, Marjorie's name and birth year are on Clarence's headstone in Kahoka Cemetery, but no date of death. She may be buried there, or elsewhere.

     Martha Hill married Matthias Friermood in 1778 at Shenandoah Co., VA.

     Martha M. Hill was born in 1896. She was the daughter of Francis Marion Hill and Mary Magdalene Crates. Martha M. Hill died in 1910.

     Martha N. Hill was born in April 1880 at Palo Alto Twp., Jasper Co., IA.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Marshall Hill Sr. and Anna Jane Alexander.¹

     Mary Hill was the daughter of Henry Hill. Mary Hill married Roderic Starling, son of Roderic Starling and Jane Esther Hill.
Note: "Miss Hill, wife of Roderic Starling, Jr., was a delicate little creature, who died shortly after her marriage, and before she was of age, leaving one daughter, Jane Gordon. The Hills had refused to recognize their daughter after her marriage, and, though wealthy, never gave her anything, but after her death took their little granddaughter to live with them, raised and educated her."

A Lovina McClain to Elmer Meeks marriage was recorded 5 SEP 1897, and this couple is found living at Robinson in the 1900 census. Lovina was probably born in January, 1881 to Mary Hill and Ben McClain. DLB 2012.^1,2
