Note: "The Weaver"

"First mentioned by Daniel Cushing in 'The Founders of New England; p. 77 as follows: '1633 Also Nicholas Jacob with his wife and two children and their cosen Thomas Lincoln, weaver, came from Old Hingham and settled in this Hingham.' He is said to have resided for about two years in Charlestown and Watertown, and he received a grant of land in Hingham at Weary-All (now Otis) Hill in 1635, and July 3, 1636, a houselot of five acres was granted him on the south side of Town (now South) Street.' His will is given on pp 3-4 of Waldo Lincoln's 'The History of the Lincoln Family.' According to Waldo Lincoln... not known to have any children...

He came to Massachusetts in 1633 and settled in Hingham in 1635. SOURCE: (1) 'Colonial Families of United States of America,' MacKenzie, G.N., Vol III, pp 293-299."
(source 2: Ancestors of Rettinger and Garrett)

His will, which is not dated, provides for his wife, and gives a small legacy to his brother, Samuel, a larger one to Samuel and Daniel, sons of brother Samuel; and a smaller legacy to each of the living siblings except Rebecca. The will was possibly made before she was born. (source: Savage).
