ESTELLA ANDERSON WILLIAMS
     Estella Mae Anderson Williams, widow of Orville Williams, passed away Sunday morning, November 3, 1974 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, after a long illness.
     She was born February 8, 1901, daughter of William F. and Annis Floyd Anderson of Franklin Township, Washington County, Indiana. She attended the Hickory Grove school and became a member of the Church of Christ at Cross Roads, later transferring her membership to Salem.
     During the war years she was a government employee at Charlestown.
     On September 18, 1947 she was married to Orville Williams and lived at the farm home north of Salem until her husband’s death in 1964. At that time she established a home of her own in Salem until failing health caused her to reside with her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Walker. For the past two years she was cared for at the Williams Convalescent Center, and given the devoted attention of her family.
     She is survived by a daughter, Virginia Atkins, with her husband, Norman and two sons, Barry and Mark, of Lexington Ky; two brothers, Everett Anderson and wife Sylvia, and Glenn Anderson and wife Helen, of Salem; and two sisters, Effie Spurgeon of Dania, Florida; and Hazel Walker and husband Walter of Salem; also many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Thou hast gone, O precious loved one,
O’er the dark and chilly tide;
In the house of many mansions,
With the blest thou dost abide.
We shall meet thee in the morning,
When all gloom has passed away;
Where good-bye is never spoken,
We’ll rejoice with thee for aye.

Georgia Lenus Anderson1

F, b. 8 June 1899, d. 29 April 1962
     Georgia Lenus Anderson was born on 8 June 1899 at Greene Co., PA, The 1900 census strangely shows both Charles and Emma "Andersen" as being 16 years of age, with birth dates in 1884, and it shows daughter Georgia born May, 1900. Out of concern for name duplications, both 1910 and 1920 censuses were searched for some "other" Charles Anderson with a birth date of 1884, and a wife Emma. There was none listed in the Greene County, Pennsylvania area. The ages for Georgia and Nellie, in both 1910 and the 1920 census, taken in January, are consistent with an 1899 birth date for Georgia and a 1900 birth date for Nellie. DLB 2018.2,1 She was the daughter of Charles Ross Anderson and Emma Mary Wright.1 Georgia Lenus Anderson married Harold Roscoe Sharp, son of Thomas Harold Sharp and Elizabeth Jane Garner, on 13 February 1924 at Canonsburg, Washington Co., PA.
