     Alice Hulse was born on 13 February 1928 at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK. She was the daughter of McNair William Hulse and Grace Sims.¹ Alice Hulse married Alfred Wallace Starling, son of Guy A. Starling and Kate McRae Wallace, Four children born to the marriage. Alice Hulse died on 6 December 2015 at Hopkinsville, Christian Co., KY, at age 87 Obituary (findagrave.com):

A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, she was born February 7, 1928, the daughter of the late William McNair and Grace Sims Hulse. She was a school teacher, a member of the Dyslexia board, and the co-founder of the Mount Pleasant Neighborhood Association. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Wallace Starling, Sr. January 4, 2015, and her daughter, Lucy Whitlock Starling.

She is survived by her 3 sons: Wallace Starling, Jr. (Elise Todd), John Starling (Barbara Brannon) and Philip Starling (Cindy McHale) all of Hopkinsville; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
