     Eliza C. Hunt was born on 18 December 1854 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Eliza C. Hunt married John Samuel Lindsey, son of Stephen Jones Lindsey and Hannah Elizabeth Lindsey, on 5 February 1879 at Barton Co., MO. Eliza C. Hunt died on 1 February 1888 at Carthage, Jasper Co., MO, at age 33.

     Note: Did not marry. Elizabeth Ann Hunt was born on 20 December 1919 at Tulsa Co. (probably), OK. She was the daughter of Elton Ballinger Hunt and Olive Eagleton. Elizabeth Ann Hunt died on 26 August 2001 at Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 81 dates per SSDI.

     Ellen M. Hunt was born on 28 January 1868 at Carlinville, Macoupin Co., IL.¹ She married Baker P. Bowsher, son of Russell B. Bowsher and Mary Catherine Range, on 27 February 1889 at Macoupin Co., IL. Ellen M. Hunt lived on 4 June 1900 at Bois D'Arc Twp., Montgomery Co., IL, farming.¹ She died on 2 January 1949 at Carlinville, Macoupin Co., IL, at age 80. She was buried in January 1949 at Elmwood Cemetery, Litchfield, Montgomery Co., IL, Findagrave #144642920.

     Elton Ballinger Hunt was born on 24 May 1886 at Lamar, Barton Co., MO. He was the son of Jacob Hunt and Emily Elizabeth Broyles. Elton Ballinger Hunt married Olive Eagleton, daughter of William Eagleton and Martha Sanders. Elton Ballinger Hunt lived in January 1920 at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK. Occupation: Attorney at law at Tulsa, Tulsa Co., OK.

(Prather) Hunt.¹ She married Abraham Alexander Gilmore, son of William Clay Gilmore and Mary Catherine Landes, on 1 December 1896 at Mills Co., IA. Helen Hunt lived on 21 April 1910 at Glenwood, Mills Co., IA, widowed, own income.² She died on 11 January 1966 at Salinas, Monterey Co., CA, at age 87. She was buried in January 1966 at Glenwood Cemetery, Glenwood, Mills Co., IA, Findagrave #181348339.

     Henry Hunt was born on 30 May 1813 at Muhlenberg Co., KY. He married Mary Hudson on 16 February 1838 at Warrick Co., IN. Henry Hunt died on 17 October 1907 at Warrick Co., IN, at age 94. He was buried in October 1907 at Crossroads Cemetery, Chandler, Warrick Co., IN, Findagrave #30734658.

     Henson Hunt was born in 1841 at Tennessee. He was the son of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Henson Hunt began military service Civil War, Union Army. He died on 14 August 1865 at Jefferson, Marion Co., TX, died while in military service, cause of death not known.

     Henson Hunt married Mary Pope.

     Howard Hunt was born on 25 June 1926. He was the son of Warner Franklin Hunt and Rosa Elizabeth Short. Howard Hunt began military service WW II service, U.S. Navy. He married Barbara Jean Lane, daughter of Harry Mervin Morris Lane and Gladys Adeline Parrett, in 1949. Howard Hunt died on 10 June 1999 at age 72. He was buried in June 1999 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, Washington Co., IN, Findagrave #83376241.

     India Hunt was born in July 1886 at Ohio headstone shows 1885.¹ She was the daughter of James Hunt and Sarah (?)¹ India Hunt married John Loath B. Windell, son of Anthony W. Windell and Elvira Binkley, after April 1910. India Hunt died in December 1938 at Harrison Co., IN, at age 52. She was buried in December 1938 at Hillgrove Cemetery, Corydon, Harrison Twp., IN.

     Jackson Isaac Hunt was born on 15 March 1853 at Warrick Co., IN, per 1900 census, or 1852 per other sources.¹ He was the son of Henry Hunt and Mary Hudson. Jackson Isaac Hunt married Sarah A. Hudson circa 1886 at Warrick Co., IN, A Warrick County marriage record exists, but shows only Isaac's age and the name of his mother.¹ Jackson Isaac Hunt died on 20 July 1907 at Warrick Co., IN, at age 54. He was buried in July 1907 at Crossroads Cemetery, Chandler, Warrick Co., IN, Findagrave #223923422.

     Jacob Hunt was born on 13 August 1843 at Jonesborough, Washington Co., TN. He was the son of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Jacob Hunt began military service on 19 October 1864 Civil War, Union Army, 8th Illinois Volunteer Infantry. Mustered in at Jacksonville, Illinois, mustered out 26 October 1865 at New Orleans. He married Emily Elizabeth Broyles, daughter of Andrew Coffee Broyles and Louisa Ann Eliza Hunt, on 20 January 1885 at Chucky Valley, Carter Co., TN, From a letter written by Rev. E. Hubert Broyles to Dorothy DeVault Bicknell dated May 24, 1953:
"Betty and her sister Mollie were married in a double wedding ceremony. Mollie will be 95 next Tuesday the 26th. Not at all well, but still goes around some."

Jacob Hunt died on 13 June 1925 at Alex, Grady Co., OK, at age 81. He was buried in June 1925 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha, Grady Co., OK.

     James Hunt was born on 8 August 1838 at Tennessee. He was the son of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Cause of death: on 26 November 1860 Childhood injury. James Hunt died on 26 November 1860 at Macoupin Co., IL, at age 22. He was buried in November 1860 at Reader Cemetery, 4 miles NE of Chesterfield, Macoupin Co., IL.

     James Hunt was born in January 1855 at Indiana.¹ He married Sarah (?) circa 1879.¹

     Jamie Lee Hunt died circa 1972 at Indiana.

     Julia D. Hunt was born on 5 April 1864 at Illinois. She was the daughter of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Julia D. Hunt lived in 1900 at Kansas City, Jackson Co., MO.
Note: About 1905 Julia became separated from her family. She was last heard from in Kansas City, Jackson County, Missouri.

     Kara Lea Hunt died in 1957. She was born in 1957. She was the daughter of Howard Hunt and Barbara Jean Lane. Kara Lea Hunt was buried in 1957 at Crown Hill Cemetery, Salem, Washington Co., IN, Findagrav e#83376260.

     Katherine Cleveland Hunt was born on 17 December 1892 at La Cygne, Linn Co., KS.¹ She married John Robert Stanley. Katherine Cleveland Hunt died on 14 March 1957 at Fairway, Johnson Co., KS, at age 64. She was buried in March 1957 at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Wyandotte Co., KS, Findagrave #15581910.

     Leon C. Hunt was born in September 1899 at Oklahoma. He was the son of Bruce Hunt and Alice A. Varner.
Note: no children (Leon's wife was a widow with two adult children.)

     Leona Ruth Hunt was born on 22 June 1914. She married George Franklin Creger. Leona Ruth Hunt died on 16 May 2007 at age 92. She was buried in May 2007 at Good Hope Cemetery, Grayden, Fayette Co., WV, Findagrave #193680502.

     Louisa Ann Eliza Hunt was born on 23 May 1838 at Tennessee.¹ She was the daughter of Warrington Cary Hunt and Maria Catherina DeVault. Louisa Ann Eliza Hunt married Andrew Coffee Broyles, son of Jacob Franklin Broyles and Lucinda Broyles, on 6 August 1857. Louisa Ann Eliza Hunt died on 27 March 1906 at Monmouth, Warren Co., IL, at age 67 while visiting her daughter, Birdie King.

MRS. A. C. BROYLES

Mrs. A. C. Broyles, formerly of Knoxville, died Tuesday at Monmouth, Ill., her home, after a brief illness. She was 67 years of age. The remains will be brought to Tennessee and interred in Jonesboro, where the deceased resided years ago. A husband and seven children, including one daughter, Mrs. S. H. Ballard of Knoxville, survive her. Other relatives also reside in Knoxville. Besides Mrs. Ballard the children are: Dr. Frank Broyles, of Bethany, Mo; Hubert E. Broyles, of Tulsa, I. T; William M. Broyles of Denver, Col; Robert S. Broyles, of Table Rock, Neb; Mrs. Jacob Hunt, of Skiatook, I.T., and Mrs. W. R. King, of Monmouth, Ill.

Jonesboro, April 2. - The remains of Mrs. Andrew C. Broyles, who died in Monmouth, Ill., March 27, were brought here Saturday, this being her home for many years. The funeral services was held in the M. E. Church, south and many friends and relatives were present. The remains were accompanied here by the husband, A. C. Broyles and the children. Rev. and Mrs. W. R. King, of Monmouth, Ill; Mrs. Jacob Hunt, of Skiatook, Indian Territory; Dr. F.H. Broyles, Bethany, Mo; and Mrs.S. H. Ballard, of Knoxville. The other children are: R. S. Broyles, Tablerock, Neb; W. M. Broyles, St. Louis, and Rev. E. H. Broyles, Tulsa, Indian Territory.
Mrs. Broyles died at the age of 67 years. She was the mother of nine children, two dying in infancy. She was a member of the Broad Street M. E. church, south, Knoxville and was a sincere christian, a devoted mother and true and faithful wife. Her disposition was sweet and sunny and she made friends everywhere. She has many friends and relatives in Tennessee who mourn her death.

She was buried in 1906 at Old Jonesboro Cemetery, Jonesborough, Washington Co., TN.

     Louise Henrietta Hunt was born in August 1847 at Tennessee. She was the daughter of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Louise Henrietta Hunt married Oscar Hannah in 1879 at Lamar, Barton Co., MO. Louise Henrietta Hunt married Frank Barrett in 1881 at Lamar, Barton Co., MO, six children born, three living as of 1900 census. Louise Henrietta Hunt died on 17 August 1918 at Saskatchewan (probably), Canada.

     Martha Hunt married Isaac Carpenter, son of Thomas Carpenter and Hannah Alsop. Martha Hunt was born on 17 April 1734.

     Mary Hunt married Samuel Bryan, son of William Bryan and Mary Boone, on 5 October 1775 at North Carolina.

     Mary Hunt married Henry Hedges.¹

     Mary Hunt was also known as "Polly". She was born circa 1780 at Washington Co., TN. She married John Calvin Crouch, son of Joseph Crouch and Margaret Sanford, on 13 December 1805 at Washington Co., TN. Mary Hunt died on 20 July 1838 at Washington Co., TN.

     Mary Ann Hunt was born on 19 June 1802 at Green Co., KY.¹ She married Robert Ross on 23 August 1836 at Macoupin Co., IL. Mary Ann Hunt died on 24 June 1861 at Palmyra, Macoupin Co., IL, at age 59.

     Mary Emily Hunt was also known as "Emma". She was born on 9 November 1844 at Jonesborough, Washington Co., TN. She was the daughter of Thomas Hyder Hunt and Rachel Mary DeVault. Mary Emily Hunt married Ephriam Bradley Gillmore, son of William Gillmore and Jane Nesbit, on 25 December 1867 at Pittsfield, Pike Co., IL. GILMORE FUNERAL TO BE HELD HERE
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Gilmore, mother of Mrs. R. H. Martin of Lubbock who died last Friday night in Kansas City, will be held in this city Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. The body is expected to arrive here Tuesday.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rix-Sanders Funeral chapel with the Rev. H. L. Munger, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiating. Burial will be in Lubbock cemetery.
Accompanying the body here will be Mrs. Nora Brooks, of Kansas City, and C. E. Gilmore of Wichita, Kans., children of Mrs. Gilmore. Others who survive are four daughters, Mrs. J. T. Collom, Arlington, VA; Mrs. Lula Gregory, Stillwater, Okla; Mrs. E. E. Frost, Denver, Colo; Mrs. Julia Patterson, Tacoma, Wash; and three sons, Jacob E. Gilmore, Fort Cobb, Okla; William Bruce Gilmore, Washington, D.C; Guy Gilmore, Wagoner, Okla.

Funeral services will be held at the First Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon for Mrs. Mary E. Gilmore, mother of Mrs. R. H. Martin of this city, who died in Kansas City last Friday.
The Rev. H. L. Munger, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Rix-Sanders.
The body arrived this morning and will lie in state today at the Rix-Sanders Chapel.

She was buried in May 1929 at Lubbock City Cemetery, Section 4, Lot 33B, Lubbock, Lubbock Co., TX.
