The Ladies Aid was entertained by Mrs. Maahs, Mrs. McDonald and Mrs. Lipe, February 28. After the business meeting the ladies gave a miscellaneous shower for Miss Sadie Lipe who is to be married to Fred Faulhaber March 7. A large basket of beautiful presents was unwrapped by Miss Lipe and were enjoyed by all. There were thirty-six ladies present, a splendid lunch was served and a jolly time
enjoyed by all present."

Obit from "The Lincoln Star", Lincoln, Nebraska, May 13, 1980 --"Sadie Alvera Faulhaber entered her heavenly home on May 12, 1980, at the age of 81 years.
Sadie was born on December 23, 1898, to William Henry Lipe and Hulda (Anderson) Lipe of Cheney, Nebraska. Sadie was joined in marriage to Fred Lewis Faulhaber on March 7, 1917 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Walton. They moved to their farm near Walton where they spent the balance of their lives. Their marriage was blessed with six children. Her husband preceded her in death December 14, 1974, followed by their eldest son, Melvin, June 1, 1975. The survivors of Sadie A. Faulhaber include sons, Roy, Orange, California, Philip, Culver City, California; daughters, Virginia Sutter, Lincoln, Nebraska, Darleen Faulhaber, Walton, Nebraska, Shirley Selk, Naperville, Illinois; brother, Lloyd Lipe, Milpitas, California; sister, Ruth Lipe, Paramount, California; 13 grandchildrenm, 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services held Thursday, May 15, 1980, 2 p.m., Trinity Lutheran Church, North of Bennet, Nebraska, Pastor John Bass officiating. Pallbearers: Bob Bremmer, Duane Rocker, Steve Rocker, Marvin Kemper, Elmer Tychen, Leonard Keim. Interment, Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska." She was buried on 15 May 1980 at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Lancaster Co., NE.

George Lippincott
CAMBRIDGE -- George Lippincott of Shawnee Circle, Cambridge, a retired Kerr McGee regional manager, died Monday evening, Dec. 24, 1984 at Dorchester General Hospital in Cambridge. He was 79.
Born in Marlton, N.J., he was the son of the late George P. and Narcissa Masters Lippincott.
Mr. Lippincott moved to Cambridge in 1952, where he served as president of the Dorco Fertilizer Company and later was the regional manager for the Kerr McGee Company until he retired in 1969.
In 1927, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University, where he had played on the soccer team and was named All-American.
He served as chairman for the Delmarva Council of Boy Scouts of America, was on the Dorchester Planning and Zoning Board, the Board of Directors at Dorchester General Hospital and was active in the United Fund of Dorchester. A member of the Society of Friends, he attended the Third Haven Meeting House in Easton.
He is survived [by] his wife, the former Roslie Holliday (sic), whom he married in 1931; one sister, Helen Bliss of Gainsville, Fla; one brother, Dr. John E. Lippincott of Scotland Neck, N.C., and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Third Haven Meeting House in Easton.
