KATHY S. CRAWFORD 63, of 510 Buckeye Ave. passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 4:50 A.M. at the Sidney Care Center.
She was born on February 15, 1950 in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of the late Robert and Lois (Wilson) Jordan.
She is survived by one daughter, Ginger Crawford of Middletown, OH. and three brothers, Rhys Jordan of Sidney, Steve Jordan of Hillsboro, OH and Nathan Jordan of Temple, TX.

Mrs.Crawford was employed by WMH where she was a secretary. Kathy was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ.


Private graveside services were held at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, OH. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Cromes Funeral Home, 302 S. Main Ave.

Accidentally drowned.
Elcena drowned when she steps into a deep hole in a creek outside of Oklahoma City where she and her family where picnicing. Elcena was holding her baby niece when she fell. Her husband ran to her and managed to save the neice but was unable to rescue Elcena. She was a young housewife when she died (age 16 yrs). She and her husband were just married in May.

An award of $4,004.52 was made to Joan Streily, widow of Richard F. Streily of West Homestead, who was shot and killed in a West Mifflin shopping center on Feb. 27, 1979.

Based on the timing, this affidavit was probably prepared and filed to correct an erroneous birth certificate in conjunction with preparation or registration for military service. DLB 2010.
