     Phoebe King Larimore was born on 26 January 1914 at Oklahoma Co. (probably), OK.1 She was the daughter of Walter King Larimore and Margery Elizabeth Paxton. Phoebe King Larimore married Leonard Harlin Savage, son of Thomas Halsell Savage and Mattie Bland Jones. Phoebe King Larimore died on 6 March 1993 at Tucson, Pima Co., AZ, at age 79 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Phoebe Larimore Savage was born January 26, 1914 in Oklahoma City and died March 6, 1993 in Tucson, Arizona, after suffering a heart attack.

She was the daughter of Margery Paxton and W. King Larimore of Oklahoma City. Her parents, brother, James P. Larimore of Oklahoma City, and sister, Betty Harlow of Washington, D.C., predeceased her.

Phoebe attended Wilson Elementary and graduated from Classen High School. She attended the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1935 with a BS degree in business. While at the University, Phoebe was a member of many campus organizations, including Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Sooner Yearbook staff, String Choir, and the YWCA.

In 1937, Phoebe married Leonard Harlin Savage of Oklahoma City. Phoebe and Leonard were married 55 years until they were separated by Leonard's death in December 1992.

Phoebe actively supported the Young Women's Christian Association throughout her life, including serving as President of the Downtown YWCA. She also participated in many Oklahoma City civic, charitable, and educational organizations, including the Twentieth Century Club, Blue Stockings, Third Friday Book Club, Thursday Book Club, Daughters of the American Colonists, Daughters of the American Revolution, Junior Hospitality, and Huguenot Society.

Phoebe was a past President of the Oklahoma City Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Association. She was an originator of the Flaming Festival, which is an annual major fund-raising event for the sorority. In 1978, Phoebe was honored as "Theta of the Year" by the Oklahoma City Chapter. She also served a permanent alumnae Secretary for many years.

She was an avid golfer and an active member in the Ladies Golf Associations at Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club and Skyline Country Club, Tucson, Arizona. Phoebe had a great love for fishing and water activities at Grand Lake where she and Leonard waterskied and fished with their children and grandchildren for over 30 years.

Phoebe and Leonard had been actively involved in Skyline Country Club Estates and the Tucson community since 1963. She had a great affection for the people of southern Arizona and the majesty of the land that surrounds them.

Phoebe was an active member of the Crown Heights Christian Church, serving as President of the Christian Womens Fellowship, a Deaconess and as a longtime member of the Victory Class. She served as a volunteer with Mobile Meals for many years.

Phoebe is survived by two sons, Philip and Robert of Oklahoma City; two daughters, Elizabeth del Pozo, of San Diego, Ca., and Anne Holbrook of Oklahoma City; 14 grandchildren, Ann Harlin, John and Thomas Savage; Stacey Stewart; Laurie Huebner, Phoebe Pluchar, Jeff Huebner, Carlos del Pozo; Michael, Lisa and Sarah Holbrook; Harlin, Mary Anne and Lane Savage; and a great-grandson, David Cardenas. She is also survived by her nephew, James Larimore of Oklahoma City; nephew, Larry Harlow and nieces, Peggy Knight and Trudy Dervan of Washington, D.C; and many great nieces and nephews.

As a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Phoebe showed by example her Christian beliefs and provided inspiration to all of us with her generosity, caring and warmth.

Services will be held at Crown Heights Christian Church on Wednesday, March 10, 1993 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family has established memorials in Phoebe's name with Crown Heights Christian Church and the Kappa Alpha Theta Alpha Omicron Memorial Fund, 2609 Cypress Ave., Norman, Ok 73069.

Richard Clement Larimore, 82, a retired claim clerk for the Santa Fe railroad, died sometime in his sleep during the night at his home 1301 east Fifth. He was found dead in his bed by his daughter Miss Hope Larimore and it is thought that death occurred around five o'clock from a heart attack.
He was born Sept. 12, 1864, in Licking county, Ohio, coming to Winfield more than 50 years ago.
He had been in the employee of the Santa Fe for many years for a time served as agent at Raton, N.M. and later as claim clerk and was retired as chief claim clerk some years ago.

Received Word Of Death of R. Larimore
Granville, Jan. 8. -- Word was received by relatives here Tuesday of the sudden death of Mr. Richard C. Larimore, a native of Licking county, in Winfield, Kan., where he resided for several years. No cause of death was given in the message.
He is survived by a daughter, Hope, of Winfield, with whom he resided; two sisters, Mrs. Jessie Brown and Mrs. Fanny Fern Perry, both of Granville, one brother, William G. Larimore of Newark, and a niece, Mrs. Bryan Larimore, of Granville.
Mrs. Brown and the niece left Tuesday for Winfield. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

He was buried in January 1946 at Union Cemetery, Winfield, Cowley Co., KS.

Robert Larimore, a pioneer resident of this community, died at his home at 117 South Center street yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. The funeral will be held this afternoon, at 2 o'clock from the Scott-Harman chapel.
Robert Larimore was born at Pekin, Ill. October 25, 1840, and at the time of his death was eighty-two years of age, lacking eleven days. When a young man he came to Nebraska and settled on a homestead near Western, Nebraska. In 1867 he came to Beatrice and this city has been his home ever since.
In the early days, Mr. Larimore worked as an overland freighter between Beatrice and the Missouri river towns. He knew the country when it was young and the buffalo was still being hunted on the Nebraska prairies.
He had been in ailing health for six months, and had been quite ill the past three months. He is survivied by his wife and their four sons and three daughters: John, Frank, Eugene, and Roy, all of Beatrice, and Mrs. Melissa Corey and Mrs. Anna Stanley of Beatrice, and Mrs. Lottie Gettemy of Redlands, Calif.

He was buried in October 1922 at Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice, Gage Co., NE, Findagrave #185784837.
