     Cecilia Ann Kent was born on 16 April 1866 at Greene Co., PA.¹ She married Thomas Franklin Tharp circa 1891.¹ Cecilia Ann Kent died on 2 August 1941 at Franklin Twp., Greene Co., PA, at age 75.

     Delmer Lee Kent was born on 15 October 1935 at Chickasha, Grady Co., OK, Pearlie was first married to Stirley Henry Land on 18 FEB 1933 at Caddo, Oklahoma and had a daughter, Thelma, b.16 OCT 1933, who was living with her father as of the 1940 census. Delmer was born 2 years later on 15 OCT 1935. I found no evidence that Jack Kent was ever anywhere near Chickasha, Oklahoma. Pearlie was living with Jack Kent in New Mexico as of the April 1940 census but didn't marry him until 1941. It seems most likely that Delmer was the biological son of Stirley Land, although Jack Kent may have been the only father he ever knew. DLB 2021.

     Jack Kent was born on 10 August 1898 at Stratoford, Coos Co., NH.¹ He lived on 1 April 1935 at Flagstaff, Coconino Co., AZ.¹ He lived on 18 April 1940 at Vaughn, Guadalupe Co., NM, trucker, wholesale gasoline.¹ He married Pearlie Mae Gray on 21 July 1941 at Florence, Pinal Co., AZ, Pearlie was first married to Stirley Henry Land on 18 FEB 1933 at Caddo, Oklahoma and had a daughter, Thelma, b.16 OCT 1933, who was living with her father as of the 1940 census. Delmer was born 2 years later on 15 OCT 1935. Pearlie was living with Jack Kent as of the April 1940 census but didn't marry him until 1941.      Julia Kent was born on 26 January 1919. She married Albert LeRoy Horton, son of Henry R. Horton and Katie J. Beebe. Julia Kent died on 15 February 2013 at age 94 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Julia K. Wolf, age 93 formerly of Wayland, passed away February 15, 2013 at the Whispering Woods Assisted Living Facility. Julia was a member of the Wyoming Seventh Day Adventist Church for many years. During her working years she worked for several bakeries in both production and decorating cakes which she excelled at. Julia is survived by her son; Edward (Hillie) Horton of Kentwood, daughters; Lila Spaman of New Mexico, Delores (Leo) Vance of Illinois, Nyla (Robert) Smith of Wayland, daughters-in-law; Ila Horton of Middleville MI, and Jan Kent of Howard City, along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Preceding Julia in death are her parents; Melvin Smith and Lena Kent, brother; Loyld Berry Jr., two husbands; Alfred Horton and Edwin Wolf, sons; James Kent and Richard Horton.

     Rodney L. Kent was born. He was the son of Delmer Lee Kent. Rodney L. Kent died in 1999.

     Roy Isaac Kent was born on 28 October 1908 at Laurel, Cedar Co., NE. He married Levern Lillian Spike on 27 August 1930 at Sioux City, Woodbury Co., IA. Roy Isaac Kent died on 14 December 1997 at Sioux City, Woodbury Co., IA, at age 89. He was buried in December 1997 at Laurel Cemetery, Laurel, Cedar Co., NE.

     Sarah Louise Kent was born on 12 October 1835 at Bloomfield, Essex Co., NJ. She married Albert Monroe Tichenor.¹ Sarah Louise Kent died on 18 December 1915 at Highland, San Bernardino Co., CA, at age 80.      Sarah Rebecca Kent was born in 1956. She died in 1989.

     Archie Stewart Kentner was born on 20 September 1912 at Boissevain, Manitoba, Canada. He married Devona Doreen Pritchard, daughter of Roy Turriff Pritchard and Flossie Gladys Roller, on 11 September 1938 at Virden, Manitoba, Canada.

     Elizabeth Kenton married Enoch Leavitt, son of Joseph Leavitt Jr. and Hannah Remington, on 28 February 1771 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT.

     Lavina Kentzler was born on 10 September 1840. She married Archibald Porter Ankrum. Lavina Kentzler died on 22 March 1912 at age 71.

     Erma Arlene Kenyon was born on 11 January 1915 at Mt. Carroll, Carroll Co., IL. She married Eugene F. Kruse. Erma Arlene Kenyon died on 29 March 2002 at Freeport, Stephenson Co., IL, at age 87.      Aretas E. Kepford was Methodist Episcopal.¹ He was born on 18 June 1867.¹ He was the son of Rev. Joseph Kepford and Anna Mary (?)¹ Aretas E. Kepford married Effie E. Emmert, daughter of Josiah Emmert and Margaret Miller, on 27 October 1898, Ceremony by Rev. B. A. Dickens.¹ Aretas E. Kepford lived in 1926 at Toledo, Lucas Co., OH.¹

     Rev. Joseph Kepford married Anna Mary (?).¹

     Lucille Kepford was born on 24 July 1903.¹ She was the daughter of Aretas E. Kepford and Effie E. Emmert.¹

     Alfred Henry Kephart was also known as Alfred H. Kiphart. He was born on 2 August 1885 at Warren Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Maurice W. Kephart and Eva Hutchinson.¹ Alfred Henry Kephart married Pearl Jessie Hite, daughter of Alpheus Allen Hite and Alice Sarah Thornhill, on 16 October 1906 at Warren Co., OH. Alfred Henry Kephart lived on 21 May 1910 at Beavercreek Twp., Greene Co., OH, farming.² He died on 3 July 1952 at Clinton Memorial Hospital, Wilmington, Clinton Co., OH, at age 66

WILMINGTON -- Services for Alfred H. Kiphart, 66, of 126 Columbus st., who died of a heart attack Thursday at 9:45 p.m. at Clinton Memorial Hospital, were to be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Port William Methodist church. Burial was to be in Jamestown cemetery. Survivors include one son, Donald W. Kiphart of Hartford City, Ind; one brother, Lewis Kiphart of near Blanchester; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Jones of Birmingham, Ala., and Mrs. Lucy Irvin of Los Angeles, Cal; four grandchildren; one niece and one nephew.

     John Lewis Kephart was also known as John Lewis Kiphart. He was born on 30 October 1886 at Clinton Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Maurice W. Kephart and Eva Hutchinson.¹ John Lewis Kephart married Blanche E. Vandevort. John Lewis Kephart lived on 2 January 1920 at Harlan Twp., Warren Co., OH, farming.² He died on 2 March 1966 at Blanchester, Clinton Co., OH, at age 79. He was buried in March 1966 at Clarksville Cemetery, Clarksville, Clinton Co., OH, Findagrave #27587236.

     Maurice W. Kephart was also known as "Morris" Kiphart family name was changed from "Kephart" in the late 1880s. He was born in January 1860 at Ohio per 1900 census, or 16 FEB 1869 per Findagrave.com memorial.¹ He was the son of Richard Lewis Kephart and Sarah Gilmore.² Maurice W. Kephart lived on 5 June 1880 at Washington Twp., Warren Co., OH, farm worker.³ He married Eva Hutchinson, daughter of Samuel Hutchinson and Margaret Ellen Shafer, on 10 September 1884 at Clinton Co., OH. Maurice W. Kephart lived on 18 June 1900 at Washington Twp., Warren Co., OH, farming.¹ He died on 2 October 1902 at Washington Twp., Warren Co., OH, at age 42

He was born K. Maurice W. Kephart, the 9th of 10 children born to Richard Lewis (Lewis) & Sarah Gillmore Kephart. For most of his life, he went by his nickname, Morris. There are no family stories as to what the "K" & "W" stand for in Morris's name.

All of Lewis & Sarah's children were born as Kephart. They were: Eliza, Mary, Lavinia (Linnie), William, Louisa, Charles, Laura, Albert, Maurice (Morris), and Maud.

On 10 September 1884, Morris married the love of his life, Eva D Hutchinson (Ella). They were married in Warren County, Ohio. They went on to have 5 wonderful children: Alfred, John, Ethel, Lucille (Lucy), and Charles (Charlie).

Morris & Ella's first 2 children were born & baptized as Kephart, but somewhere in the late 1880's Morris started using Kiphart. His last 3 children were born & baptized as Kiphart.
It is not know why the name change occured, but many of Morris's siblings began using Kiphart as well in this same timeframe.

With the exception of a 2 year gap that found Morris & Ella living in Clinton County, Morris spent almost his entire life in Warren County, Ohio. Most of his children & grandchildren lived nearby.

     Richard Lewis Kephart was also known as "Lewis".² He was born circa 1817 at Ohio.¹ He married Sarah Gilmore on 21 February 1838 at Warren Co., OH. Richard Lewis Kephart lived on 28 June 1870 at Harlen Twp., Warren Co., OH, farming.³ He lived on 5 June 1880 at Washington Twp., Warren Co., OH, sawmill worker.² He died after 5 June 1880.

     Andrew J. Keplar was born in March 1849 at Ohio.¹ He was the son of Barnet Keplar and Hannah Woods.² Andrew J. Keplar married Mary Ellen Nutter, daughter of Henry Nutter and Elizabeth Van Horn, circa 1876. Andrew J. Keplar died on 12 January 1911 at Green Twp., Hocking Co., OH, at age 61.      Annie T. Keplar was born in July 1890 at Hocking Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Andrew J. Keplar and Mary Ellen Nutter.¹
