Hermann Klein died on 2 May 1979 at Quiershied, Saarland, Germany, at age 73.

Mary Elizabeth Klein and George W. Northrup were divorced before June 1900; ; not sure whether there was a legal divorce. George and Mary were living in separate locations as of the 1900 census. Mary Elizabeth Klein died on 22 December 1929 at Neligh, Antelope Co., NE, at age 65. She was buried in December 1929 at Bartlett Cemetery, Bartlett, Wheeler Co., NE, Findagrave #14017516.

     Mary Louise Klein was born on 7 February 1923 at Zenda, Kingman Co., KS; daughter of Leslie Divola and Lottie Mae (DeWeese) Klein. She married Fred Junior McConnell, son of Fred Nando McConnell and Anna Mary Garst, in June 1942 at Visalia, Tulare Co., CA. Mary Louise Klein died on 19 August 1993 at Redding, Shasta Co.CA, at age 70

Mary Louise was daughter of Lottie Mae DeWeese and Leslie Divola Klein and sister of Anita Jane (Stover).

Mary Louise Klein married Fred 'Freddie' Junior McConnell June 1942, Visalia, CA. They had two children, daughter Kittie Lou (English) 1943 and Thomas Lance McConnell. Freddie and his brothers, Thomas L. and Edwin M., were pilots in WWII, known as the 'flying McConnells' and famed for their identical service careers in the Army Air Corps. In tribute to the brothers, a resolution was made May 11, 1954 to change the name of the Wichita (Kansas) Air Force Base to McConnell Air Force Base in their honor. Freddie flew 61 missions in his B-24 in the Pacific only to return home and die 21 Oct 1945 when his private plane struck a power line near Garden Plain, Kansas. Mary Louise was with him when the plane crashed but escaped injury.

Mary Louise married 1946 to Louis Napolean Stevens. They had one daughter, Nancy Drue Stevens (Miller) in 1947.

Mary Louise married 1955 Maurice Edward Wilson. Their children were Maura Dennice Wilson (Piparo) 1956 and Scott Lee Wilson 1959.

In 1961 Mary Louise married Harold Loyd Stearns. They had one son, William Robert Stearns 1962 before the marriage dissolved in 1980.

She was cremated in 1993 Findagrave #149177651.

     Nancy Magdelena Klein was born on 16 November 1859 at Jasper Co., IA.¹ She married William Lewis Day on 8 April 1875 at Jasper Co., IA. Nancy Magdelena Klein died on 27 July 1914 at Lost Springs, Converse Co., WY, at age 54

Died Very Suddenly

Mrs. Wm. L. Day died very suddenly Monday morning while being taken from her home, twelve miles from Lost Spring, to the train which was to bring her to Douglas for treatment in the hospital. She was apparently feeling able to make the trip when the journey started and was hopeful that an operation would bring relief. An auto was secured in Lost Spring and the body was brought to Douglas to be prepared and sent back to her old home in Petersburg, Neb., which she left about eighteen months ago.

Mrs. Day was about fifty-five years of age and leaves her husband, seven sons and two daughters to mourn her death. The sons are all homesteaders and are among the best citizens in the eastern part of the county.

She was buried in 1914 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Petersburg, Boone Co., NE, Findagrave #13837161.

Ewald circa 1914 at Cook Co., IL.¹ Charles Kleis was naturalized on 12 June 1941 at Wheaton, DuPage Co., IL; and name change from Christian Winther Kleis to Charles Kleis. He died in 1955. He was buried in 1955 at Elm Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum and Crematorium, Elmhurst, DuPage Co., IL, Findagrave #163586329.

     Charles F. Kleis Jr. was born on 1 December 1914 at New Jersey.¹ He was the son of Charles Kleis and Alvina M. Ewald.^2,1 Charles F. Kleis Jr. married Catherine Estora Keller, daughter of Jesse Ernest Keller and Minetta Louella Pippinger. Charles F. Kleis Jr. began military service on 17 January 1944 WW II service, enlisted, U.S. Army, discharged 5 DEC 1945. He died on 1 August 1982 at Cook Co., IL, at age 67.

     Bonnie Lee Klender was born on 8 August 1938 at Oakland or Washtenaw Co., MI.¹ She was the daughter of William Henry Klender and Doreen Laskey.¹ Bonnie Lee Klender died on 25 August 2004 at Fowlerville, Livingston Co., MI, at age 66.

     William Henry Klender was born on 27 November 1910 at Gladwin, Gladwin Co., MI.¹ He married Doreen Laskey, daughter of William Henry Laskey and Emeline Belinda Johnson, total of five children to this marriage.¹

     Aaron Klepinger was born circa 1839 at Montgomery Co. (probably), OH.¹ He was the son of Johann George Klepinger and Maria Anna Lautzenheiser.¹
