Obituary (via Findagrave.com):

Age 79 years

March 19, 1903 - Carroll Sentinel - Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Culbertson and R.Y. Culbertson returned yesterday morning from Princeton where they had been attending the funeral of the mother of the brothers who died last Saturday of pneumonia. The funeral was held at the old homestead Monday and all children were present.

There are six sons of whom W.L. of Carroll is the oldest and James O. of Glidden the youngest. It is a singular fact that of the eight childen of this family all are still living and in good health.

The deceased was a native of Franklin county, Pennsylvania, where she was born in April 1822. In 1862 the family moved to Iowa and settled near Princeton, Scott county, where the parents resided till their lives drew to a close. On the occasion of the family re-union this paper gave a more extended account of this interesting and sturdy family.

March 20, 1902 - Carroll Sentinel - Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Culbertson and R.Y. Culbertson have returned from their sad journey to Scott county where they laid to rest the remains of the aged and beloved Mother Culbertson.

She was buried in March 1902 at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Princeton, Scott Co., IA, Findagrave #68358542.

William Linn1

M, d. after 1751
Note: Quote from the Egle book:

William Linn, Sr. according to family tradition, fought on the side of "The Orange" at Boyne, 1 July 1690, and was said to have been in Captain Hugh Wilson's company, the first Irish officer who crossed the river. Hugh Wilson's son went to the "Irish Settlement;" the Greggs came to Chester County the same year the Linns came. The descendants of these three soldiers of Boyne-water became kindred in 1869, when William H. Sage of Ithaca, New York, was married to Jennie, daughter of Hon. Andrew Gregg Curtin.

William Linn, Sr. emigrated from the north of Ireland, in 1732, and settled in Chester County. According to family tradition, his wife died in Ireland and he brought with him an only son, ten year old William Linn, Jr. They remained in Chester County only a few years, when they settled upon the frontiers of the Purchase of October, 1736, near what is now known as Roxbury, in Franklin County.

The names of William Linn, Sr. and William Linn, Jr. appear on the assessment list of Lurgan township, Cumberland County, for the year 1751, one year after Cumberland County was brought into being. Here the senior Linn died. William Linn was born at Ireland. He immigrated in 1732 to From Ireland, Chester Co., PA. He died after 1751 at Cumberland (now Franklin Co.), PA.
