Ethel Hoover. Ethel V. Hoover, 84, of Circleville died Tuesday afternoon at Berger Hospital. Born January 17, 1900 in Waverly, she was the daughter of William and Mary Ellen LeFever. She was retired dietary worker at Berger Hospital, and a member of South Bloomfield United Methodist Church; Saltcreek Valley Grange, Pomona Grange, State Grange and Majors Temple 516, Pythian Sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 1976, one son , Harold, and two brothers. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. James (Dorothy) Thompson, and Mrs. Dale (Helen) Swackhammer, both of Circleville, Mrs. Donald (Martha) Ensign of Spencer; two sons, Donald of Columbus and Jonas of Carroll; one sister, Avanelle Buck of Lakeview; one brother, Merle LeFever of Urbana; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday at Welman Funeral Home with the Rev. Eugene Flowers and the Rev. Ray Mann officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery.
