     Maria Elisabetha Lang was the daughter of N. Lang. Maria Elisabetha Lang lived at Obermiesau, Palatinate. She married Nickel Krick, son of Peter Krick and Lisabetha Hauch, on 18 May 1744 at Obermiesau, Palatinate, Germany.

     Marion E. Lang was born circa October 1915 at Kansas.¹ He was the son of Charles Dellet Lang and Malinda M. D. (?)¹

     Michael Lang was born in 1707 at Hickorytown, Lancaster Co., PA. He was the son of Christian Lang and (?)

     N. Lang lived in 1744 at Obermiesau, Palatinate.

     Rebecca Lang was born before 1765. She married Peter Joseph Wendel, son of Samuel Wendel and Margaret Becker, on 26 June 1787 at Frederick Co., VA, Ceremony by Rev. Simon Hare (info from Handley Library, Winchester, VA.) Rebecca Lang died on 1 February 1832 at New Market, Shenandoah Co., VA.

     Rebecca Lang was born in 1736 at Bethel Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. She was the daughter of Urbanus Lang and Catherine Blum.

     Robert Dale Lang was born on 2 May 1906 at Boone Co., KY. He was the son of Wellington E. Lang and Elizabeth Jane Whitaker.¹ Robert Dale Lang married Dortha May Fox, daughter of Lewis Edward Fox and Alpha Omega Gebhart, on 1 September 1928. Robert Dale Lang died on 13 August 1973 at Miamisburg, Montgomery Co., OH, at age 67. He was buried in August 1973 at Davids Cemetery, Kettering, Montgomery Co., OH, Findagrave #43000199.

Samuel Long's parents were Killian and Rosy Long of York County, Pennsylvania. On Samuel's grave is a Revolutionary War Marker. According to the DAR, he served at one time in the same York County Militia as his father-in-law, Henry DeWald, and his brother-in-law, Philip DeWald. In 1781 he was a private in Captain Abraham Furray's Company, as was his father-in-law. He was an ensign in the 6th Company, under Captain Blair according to the returns of election of Military Officers for the County of York, Feb 21, 1794 (Pennsylvania Archives, Sixth Series).

A date of 1772 is found in: "York County Church Records of the 18th Century, Vol. 2" (Trinity Church baptism 26 APR 1772) -- but this is not consistent with the likely marriage date of 1784. Probably the christening was when the boy was 10 or so years of age.

He was the son of Killian Lang and Rosina Scheit. Samuel Lang was christened on 26 April 1772 at Trinity Church, York Co., PA; Sponsors: Jacob Raheusser and wife

Without the parents' names, cannot be sure whether this is the same Samuel Lang.

He married Mary Margaret DeWald, daughter of Henrich DeWald and Maria Catherine Greaver, circa 1784 at Pennsylvania. Samuel Lang died on 25 April 1842 at Hanover, York Co., PA, at age 80. He was buried in April 1842 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hanover, York Co., PA.

     Sophia Lang was born in 1752 at Bethel Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. She was the daughter of Urbanus Lang and Catherine Blum.

     Thais Eudora Lang was born on 22 December 1921 at Hopkinton, Delaware Co., IA.¹ She was the daughter of John Albert Lang and Wilma E. Grassfield. Thais Eudora Lang lived between 1924 and 1930 at Morley, Jones Co., IA, with her grandmother Grassfield.¹ She married Richard J. Uridil, son of Joseph Frank Uridil and Emma Viola Vesely, on 22 August 1943 at Morley, Jones Co., IA. Thais Eudora Lang lived at Newhall, Benton Co., IA. She died on 25 November 2004 at age 82

NEWHALL

Thais E. Uridil, 82, of Newhall, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, in Living Center West. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, Brosh Chapel, Cedar Rapids. Burial: National Cemetery, Vining. Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at the chapel.

She was born Dec. 22, 1921, in Hopkinton. She was raised by her maternal grandmother, Ella E. Grassfield, in Morley. She graduated from Morley High School in 1940. She married Richard J. Uridil on Aug. 22, 1943, in Morley. Thais was a homemaker, caring for her home and family.

Survivors include two daughters, Roxie Emmons of California and Lana (Miles) Bextine of Texas; a son, Richard Uridil Jr. (Debra) of Newhall; six grandchildren, Heidi, Michael, Brooke, Blake, Brent and Blaine; and three great-grandchildren, Connor, Brittney and Bailey.

She was preceded in death by her husband.

Thais loved to read. She also loved visiting with her friends and family. Thais deeply loved her grandchildren and treasured her time with them. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Everyone who met Thais loved her.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.

     Urbanus Lang was born circa 1706 at Manheim Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. He was the son of Christian Lang and (?) Urbanus Lang married Catherine Blum on 5 May 1731 at New York.

     Wellington E. Lang was born in September 1868 at Kentucky 1900 census shows "SEP 1861", however all other evidence including the 1880 census indicates that his birth year was 1868.¹ He married Elizabeth Jane Whitaker circa 1897.¹ Wellington E. Lang lived on 15 June 1900 at Richland Precinct, Harrison Co., KY, farming.¹ He died in 1937. He was buried in 1937 at Benson Methodist Church Cemetery, Kelat, Harrison Co., KY, Findagrave #46611792.

     Wendel Lang was born at Niedermiesau, Palatinate.¹ He married Maria Magdalena Boeckel on 19 January 1750/51 at Miesau, Palatinate.¹ Wendel Lang married Margaretha Catharina Stauch, daughter of Jost Stauch, on 15 August 1757 at Miesau, Palatinate.¹

     Wendel Lang married Catharina Buhles. Wendel Lang was born circa 1645. He died on 18 March 1695 at Miesau, Palatinate.

     Wilhelmina Lang was born in 1738 at Bethel Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. She was the daughter of Urbanus Lang and Catherine Blum.

     Charles E. Langdon was born in June 1859 at Indiana.¹ He married Harriet A. J. McCollum on 18 July 1880 at Harrison Co., IN.

     Charles Levi Langdon was born on 26 October 1823 at Meade Co., KY.¹ He married Elizabeth Blevins Rainbolt on 19 August 1860 at Harrison Co., IN. Charles Levi Langdon died on 12 February 1900 at Harrison Co., IN, at age 76.

     Elmore C. Langdon was born on 30 March 1909 at Franklin Co. (probably), OH.¹ He was the son of Warren E. Langdon and Ethel (?)¹ Elmore C. Langdon married Martha S. (?) before April 1940. Elmore C. Langdon died in March 1975 at Franklin Co., OH, Dates per SSDI, last residence Columbus.

     Elsa Langdon was born in May 1888 at Clinton Co. (probably), OH.¹ She was the daughter of Frank E. Langdon and Alice A. House.¹

     Frank E. Langdon was born in May 1852 at Ohio.¹ He married Alice A. House, daughter of John House and Eliza Jane Goodnight, circa 1881.¹ Frank E. Langdon died after April 1930 at Franklin Co. (probably), OH, was living with son Warren in Franklin Twp., Franklin County, as of the 1930 census.

     Julia Augusta Langdon was also known as "Augusta". She was born on 11 October 1846 at Randolph, Columbia Co., WI; daughter of Samuel Porter and Nancy (Emory) Langdon. She married James Charles Smethurst on 8 October 1863 at West Union, Fayette Co., IA. Julia Augusta Langdon died on 19 January 1930 at Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS, at age 83. She was buried in January 1930 at Fredonia City Cemetery, Fredonia, Wilson Co., KS, Findagrave #8659025.

     Lois Ruby Langdon was born on 29 July 1917 at Avondale, Pueblo Co., CO.¹ She married John Herbert Koncilja. Lois Ruby Langdon and John Herbert Koncilja were divorced. Lois Ruby Langdon died on 26 April 2001 at age 83 Per SSDI, last residence Pueblo. She was buried in April 2001 at Imperial Memorial Gardens, Pueblo, Pueblo Co., CO, Findagrave #144457054.

     Mary Langdon was born in February 1884 at Indiana.¹ She was the daughter of Charles E. Langdon and Harriet A. J. McCollum.¹ Mary Langdon married Antony Applegate, son of George W. Applegate and Harriet M. Wolfe, on 27 August 1903 at Harrison Co., IN, In the 1910 census, Antony is listed at New Albany and shows status "M" (6 years), however Mary is found living with her parents and son Robert in Scott Twp., Harrison County, and shows marital status "D". Mary Langdon lived in April 1910 at Scott Twp., Harrison Co., IN, living with her parents.²

     Olivia Langdon was born circa 1804 at New York.¹ She married Hiram Cooley.¹

     Paul R. Langdon was born circa 1914 at Franklin Co. (probably), OH.¹ He was the son of Warren E. Langdon and Ethel (?)¹

     Sarah Catherine Langdon was born on 1 June 1861 at Harrison Co., IN. She was the daughter of Charles Levi Langdon and Elizabeth Blevins Rainbolt.¹ Sarah Catherine Langdon married Isaac Newton Byerley, son of William Byerly and Ella Kesner, on 5 October 1880 at Harrison Co., IN. Sarah Catherine Langdon died before April 1889.

     Warren E. Langdon was born on 4 August 1881 at Clinton Co. (probably), OH.¹ He was the son of Frank E. Langdon and Alice A. House.¹ Warren E. Langdon married Ethel (?) circa 1907.² Warren E. Langdon lived in April 1910 at 1476 Belmont Avenue, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.² He was buried at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. He died on 26 December 1966 at Franklin Co., OH, at age 85 Dates per SSDI, last residence Columbus.

     Anneliese Emma Marie Lange was born on 21 July 1914 at Berlin, Germany. She married Herbert Heinz Braun-Munzinger, son of Gustav Adolf Munzinger and Klara Munzinger, on 26 February 1944 at Berlin, Germany. Anneliese Emma Marie Lange died on 2 September 1995 at Landstuhl, Rhein-Pfalz, Germany, at age 81.

     Bernhardt Lange was born in December 1857 at Germany.^2,1 He married Eliza (?) circa 1872.² Bernhardt Lange immigrated in 1891.² He lived in June 1900 at West Side Twp., Crawford Co., IA.²
