     Edwin Wellington Larimore was born on 14 March 1866 at Tazewell Co., IL.¹ He was the son of John Wesley Larimore and Catherine Jackson. Edwin Wellington Larimore married Lida Mae Berry, daughter of George Berry and Amelia Summers, on 1 January 1890. Edwin Wellington Larimore died on 12 January 1922 at age 55. He was buried in January 1922 at Lakeside Cemetery, Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL.

     Effie A. Larimore was born on 5 December 1862 at Tazewell Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Larimore and Mary Dillon. Effie A. Larimore married T. B. Duncanson on 20 June 1888. Effie A. Larimore died on 22 March 1913 at age 50.

     Eliza Larimore was the daughter of Joseph Larimore and Ary Warner. Eliza Larimore married William Hull in 1825.

     Eliza J. Larimore was born circa 1872 at McDonough or Fulton Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of James William Larimore and Minerva Jane Wright.¹

     Elizabeth Larimore was also known as "Betsy". She was born on 3 April 1807 at Three Churches, Hampshire Co., VA (now WV). She was the daughter of William Larimore Sr. and Nancy McMann. Elizabeth Larimore married Samuel Berry Sr., son of William Berry and Nancy (?), on 18 July 1825 at Romney, Hampshire Co., VA (now WV). Elizabeth Larimore was buried in January 1881 at Woodrow Cemetery, Cincinnati Twp., Tazewell Co., IL. She died on 10 January 1881 at Tazewell Co., IL, at age 73. She was buried in January 1881 at Woodrow Cemetery, South Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL, Findagrave #42261135.

     Elizabeth Larimore was born in 1857 at Tazewell or Mason Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Larimore and Julia P. Taylor. Elizabeth Larimore lived on 10 June 1870 at Eldorado Twp., McDonough Co., IL, with her mother in her brother James' family. No further evidence found.

     Elizabeth Jane Larimore was born circa 1833 at Hampshire Co., VA (now WV).^1,2 She was the daughter of James Larimore and Naomi Woolverton. Elizabeth Jane Larimore married Daniel Marshall Shawen Jr., son of Daniel Shawen and Margaret (?), on 1 January 1857 at Hampshire Co., VA.

     Elizabeth Odbert Larimore was born in May 1877. She was the daughter of Dr. Francis Carter Larimore M.D. and Mary Frances Odbert. Elizabeth Odbert Larimore married William M. McKinley circa 1900 at Knox Co., OH.

     Elizabeth Paxton Larimore was also known as "Betty". She was born on 3 July 1918 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Co., OK.¹ She was the daughter of Walter King Larimore and Margery Elizabeth Paxton. Elizabeth Paxton Larimore married Bryce Nathaniel Harlow, son of Victor Emmanuel Harlow Sr. and Gertrude Gindling, on 25 September 1940 at Oklahoma Co., OK. Elizabeth Paxton Larimore died on 5 November 1982 at Arlington, VA, at age 64

The wife of longtime Republican political adviser Bryce N. Harlow died Friday of cancer at her daughter's home in Arlington, Va. Betty Larimore Harlow was 64.

Mrs. Harlow, born and reared in Oklahoma City, was a graduate of Classen High School.

In 1938, she earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Oklahoma.

Although the Harlows lived only six blocks apart when they were growing up in Oklahoma City, they did not meet until they attended college. They were married on Sept. 25, 1940.

Mrs. Harlow and her husband moved in 1940 to the Washington area, where they have remained except for two brief periods in 1946 and 1953, when they lived in Oklahoma.

Mrs. Harlow was active in Republican politics from the precinct to the national level in Oklahoma and Virginia, and worked in several state and congressional campaigns.

She once told an interviewer that after her husband signed on to campaign for Eisenhower, "He did the volunteering, and then left town on business and speech-making, leaving me to do the door-to-door political canvasing."

After Eisenhower was elected, her husband served as a top aide to the president and did the same for President Nixon. He also was a close adviser to former President Gerald R. Ford. He was the principal writer, editor and policy director of the Republican national platforms of 1956, 1964, 1968 and 1972.

During their years in Washington, the Harlows became known for their friendliness, warmth, loyalty and good humor.

When Harlow retired from his job as a Washington lobbyist for Procter & Gamble Co. in 1978, Ford sent him a two-page hand-written letter in which he thanked the Harlows for "so many wonderful memories of our friendship."

"We thank you both for making our lives better in so many ways," Ford wrote.

Since 1978, the Harlows have lived in Harpers Ferry, W. Va. Mrs. Harlow also was active in the local and regional chapters of the Kappa Alpha Theta national sorority, was a longtime member of a local bridge club, and was a member of a Northern Virginia Bowling League team.

She was a member of the Rock Spring Congregational Church in Arlington, Va., and in recent months was the organist at Bethesda United Methodist Church near Harpers Ferry.

Survivors include her husband, three children, Margery H. Knight, Trudy H. Lunger and Bryce L. Harlow, and 10 grandchildren, all of the Washington area.

In Oklahoma City, she is survived by her sister, Mrs. Leonard H. Savage, and her brother, J.P. Larimore.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock Springs Congregational Church in Arlington, Va.

     Elma Elizabeth Larimore was born on 8 October 1856 at Licking Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Larimore and Hannah Minerva Lane. Elma Elizabeth Larimore died on 10 June 1873 at Union Twp., Licking Co., OH, at age 16. She was buried in June 1873 at Licking Cemetery, Hebron, Licking Co., OH, Find A Grave Memorial# 43466546.

     Elsie Jane Larimore was born on 16 July 1886 at Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL. She was the daughter of Andrew Jackson Larimore and Caroline Anthony. Elsie Jane Larimore married Thomas Hancock, son of Thomas Hancock and Emma Johnson, on 14 December 1907 at Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL. Elsie Jane Larimore lived on 9 January 1920 at 1309 Highland Avenue, Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL, Occupation: laundress.¹ She died on 11 November 1961 at Pekin, Tazewell Co., IL, at age 75.      Emily G. V. Larimore was born on 28 April 1836 at Hampshire Co., VA (now WV). She was the daughter of James Larimore and Naomi Woolverton.

     Emily Murray Larimore was born circa 1855 at Delphos, Van Wert Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Robert Larimore and Amelia Narcissa Stoddard. Emily Murray Larimore died in August 1888 at Chillicothe, Ross Co., OH.

     Emma Larimore was born circa 1877 at Le Claire Twp., Scott Co..¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Larimore and Sarah M. Wilkinson.¹ Emma Larimore lived on 8 June 1880 at Le Claire Twp., Scott Co., OH, in the household of her grandfather John Wilkinson.² She married Samuel Marks on 27 November 1899 at Woodbury Co., IA; Ceremony by F. A. Magill, J.P. This marriage was over by 1905 when the Iowa state census of Sioux City listed Samuel living alone with other boarders at 711 Fourth Street. Emma Larimore married George Rasmussen before 1916, Emma and George Rasmussen were listed as a married couple in the 1916 city directory of Sioux City.
