     Bertha Larimore was born in September 1877 at Elm Grove Twp., Tazewell Co., IL.^1,2 She was the daughter of Thomas Larimore and Eliza Jane Reed. Bertha Larimore married Charles Gilbert Young on 18 October 1898 at Tazewell Co., IL.

     Bertha E. Larimore was born on 28 March 1868 at Licking Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Joseph Montonya Larimore and Rachel Louisa Spellman. Bertha E. Larimore married Phillip Moreland, son of Richard Moreland and Jane Wycliff, on 10 January 1894. Bertha E. Larimore died on 29 November 1939 at age 71. She was buried in December 1939 at Lock Cemetery, Lock, Licking Co., OH.

     Bessie Larimore was born on 12 November 1919 at Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Louis Elmer Larimore and Lena Pech.¹ Bessie Larimore married Harold Robbins, son of James Robbins and Mary Brown, on 19 August 1938 at Kahoka, Clark Co., MO. Bessie Larimore and Harold Robbins were divorced before 31 January 1958. DELAVAN - Bessie Robbins, 92, of Delavan passed away at 10:04 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011, in the emergency room at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

She was born Nov. 12, 1919, in Delavan to Louis E. and Lena L. Pech Larimore. She married Harold "Hack" Robbins on Aug. 19, 1938, in Kahoka, Mo. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1999.

She was also preceded by three brothers, Bud, Harold and Dan; one grandson, James Murphy; one son-in-law, Melvin Murphy; and one stepgranddaughter, Tammy Harman.

Surviving are two daughters, Marilyn Murphy of Pekin and Jeanie (Joe) Farris of Tremont; two grandchildren, Kelly (Scott) Habel of Pekin and Robyn (Ralph) Gargus of Mackinaw; three great-grandchildren, Ashley, Alyssa and Nick Gargus of Mackinaw; one stepgreat-grandson, Patrick Harman of Oklahoma; one sister, Elizabeth Van Alstyne of Bakersfield, Calif; and her faithful and loving caregiver, Karla Anderson of Delavan.

Mrs. Robbins worked in the Delavan school cafeteria for many years. She also did domestic housework for several Delavan families.

She was a member of Delavan United Methodist Church and the Delavan American Legion Auxiliary.

She enjoyed playing pinochle, cooking and her flowers. Her greatest joy in life was her family, serving others and spending time with children. In the summertime you would see her on her swing and other times in her rocking chair by her window.

Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at Davis Mortuary in Delavan. The Revs. Dan Larimore and Bob Burton will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the mortuary. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan.

Larimore and Olivia Robison.¹ Bessie Mae Larimore married Michael James Flaherty III, son of Michael James Flaherty and Mary Ann Costello, circa 1921.² Bessie Mae Larimore lived on 21 April 1930 at Alliance, Box Butte Co., NE.² She lived on 3 April 1940 at Sterling, Logan Co., CO. She and Michael James Flaherty III were divorced before 31 December 1954. Bessie Mae Larimore married Harry J. Sims on 31 December 1954 at Los Angeles Co., CA.      Bessie P. Larimore was born circa 1904 at Tazewell Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of Benjamin Jacob Larimore and Florence Fisher. Bessie P. Larimore married Vivian B. Lindsey.

     Betty Larimore was born circa 1927 at Tazewell Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of John Henry Larimore Jr. and Minnie D. Chase.¹

     Billie Lou Larimore was born on 14 February 1929 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. She was the daughter of Frank Pierce Larimore and Lola G. Smith. Billie Lou Larimore married Martin H. Eitel, son of Erwin Eitel and Charlotte Boehme, on 5 August 1950. Billie Lou Larimore died on 25 November 2011 at Hamilton, Ravalli Co., MT, at age 82 Obituary:

HAMILTON - Billie Lou Larimore was born Feb. 14, 1929, to parents Frank P. Larimore and Lola G. Smith Larimore in Columbus, Ohio. She lost her long, hard-fought battle with cancer on November 25, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brown; daughter, Judy Fitz (Jim) of Phoenix, Ariz; son, Martin R. "Rusty" Eitel (Patty) of Corvallis; sister, Eva M. Graham (Daniel) of Hilliard, Ohio; sister, Jill Dine of Clarks Green, Penn; and brother Jack Larimore (Alice) of New Braunfels, Texas. The five grandchildren are Jamie B. (Fitz) Vickroy (Nathan) of Casa Grande, Ariz., Jay P. Fitz (Adriana) of Phoenix, Jon M. Fitz of Phoenix, Casey T. Eitel (Kori) of Billings and Lacey M. (Eitel) Meuchel (Lucas) of Rochester, Minn. She also has six great-grandchildren with a seventh on the way. There are also several nieces and nephews.
She was a graduate of North High School in Columbus, Ohio, in 1947.
On Aug. 5, 1950, she married Martin H. Eitel, who passed away on Sep. 10, 1988. They had two children - daughter, Judy A. (Eitel) Fitz and son, Martin R. Eitel (Rusty).
Marty and Billie moved to Missoula in 1951.
She was employed with Western Montana National Bank and Heinrich Flowers as a floral designer. She loved her flowers! Her garden was always in full bloom. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and modeled periodically from high school through her senior years.
The family enjoyed memorable years building cabins at Flathead and Placid Lakes among other outdoor activities. They enjoyed traveling.
Marty and Billie moved to Hamilton in 1978. She was very active with Garden Club, Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital Guild, DAV Chapter 17 Auxiliary, American Legion Post 47 Auxiliary, and was a member of Corvallis Methodist Church. She thoroughly enjoyed participating in the annual children's weekend at the Daly Mansion. She was her grandchildren's biggest fan, supporting and following them all their school years in sports and various activities. She was SO proud of all her grandchildren and wished she could have been near all of them.
Billie remarried on Dec. 20, 1992, to Kenneth Brown. They met in Ohio while Billie was visiting family and, no ifs, ands or buts about it, they were to live in Montana. No arguments here from Ken!
Billie loved gardening, sewing, crafts, bridge and pinnacle card clubs, fishing, anything outdoors, Grizzly football games, and being with family. She had such a zest for life and lived it to the fullest. She was blessed with many great friends who helped her keep her social calendar full. She had a very big, giving heart and would do anything for anyone.
There are not enough adjectives to describe her: kind, beautiful, classy. She kept her wit right up to the end. Can't express how much she will be missed and what a void there will be in the lives of the people who were fortunate to have known her.


Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 1, at Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. A reception for friends and family will follow the services in the community room at the chapel. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. that same day at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula, 1911 Tower St., off South Ave. Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Marcus Daly Hospice. Even for the short time you had Billie in your care, she experienced care and compassion as if she'd known you a lifetime. What a remarkable program you have.

     Billy Lee Larimore was born on 25 October 1944 at Beatrice, Gage Co., NE. He was the son of Leonard William Larimore and Hester Mae Calvert. Billy Lee Larimore began military service Vietnam War service. He died on 7 January 2007 at Lawton, Comanche Co., OK, at age 62.      Blancha M. Larimore was born in July 1892 at Adams Co., IL.¹ She was the daughter of William Oliver Larimore and Blancha Humphrey.¹

     Blanche Larimore was born on 6 August 1866 at Licking Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of John Larimore and Hannah Minerva Lane. Blanche Larimore married Sherman S. White, son of Samuel White and Ella Smith, on 18 September 1888. Blanche Larimore lived in 1911 at Bucyrus, Crawford Co., OH, Was also in Bucyrus in 1918, per her mother's obituary.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman White of East Center street left Sunday for Miami, Fla, where they plan to remain for a year. Before going to Florida they will spend a few days with their daughter, Dr. Mildred Gardner of Middletown, O, and also will visit at Asheville, NC and Daytona Beach, Fla. They expect to be in Miami the latter part of the month.

     Bruce Lee Larimore was born on 4 April 1871 at Union Station, Licking Co., OH.¹ He was the son of John Larimore and Hannah Minerva Lane. Bruce Lee Larimore married Mary Elma Bonham, daughter of Simon Bonham and Emma Moore, on 2 October 1895 at Kirkersville, Licking Co., OH. Bruce Lee Larimore lived in 1911 at Jacksonville, Duval Co., FL. He lived in 1918 at Atlanta, Fulton Co., GA, per his mother's obituary. He died on 4 December 1951 at Memphis, Shelby Co., TN, at age 80. He was buried in December 1951 at Memorial Park Cemetery, Memphis, Shelby Co., TN.

     Bryan R. Larimore was born on 28 November 1960 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. He died in October 1992 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH, at age 31. Cause of death: in October 1992 AIDS.

     Buddy Ray Larimore was born on 19 October 1952. He was the son of Burvel William Larimore and Grace Oletha Davis. Buddy Ray Larimore died on 7 October 1958 at age 5. He was buried in October 1958 at Union Grove Cem., Knox Co., OH.

     Burvel William Larimore was born on 26 January 1920. He was the son of Glenn Isaac Larimore and Ruth L. Kinsey. Burvel William Larimore married Grace Oletha Davis on 29 September 1946. Burvel William Larimore died on 14 July 1999 at Mt. Vernon, Knox Co., OH, at age 79. He was buried on 16 July 1999 at Union Grove Cem., Gambier, Knox Co., OH.

     Carl Larimore was born circa February 1909 at Adams Co. (probably), IL. He was the son of Humphrey Larimore and Edna V. (?)

     Carl Edward Larimore was born on 13 April 1922 at Lewis, Montezuma Co., CO.¹ He was the son of Floyd Earl Larimore and Lyda May Krout.¹ Carl Edward Larimore died on 5 November 1972 at age 50.

     Carol Sue Larimore was born on 7 July 1946. She was the daughter of Daniel Thomas Larimore and Mary Louise Reynolds. Carol Sue Larimore died on 18 November 2016 at Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL, at age 70 Obituary (findagrave.com):

Carol Sue Ross,70, of Delavan, passed away and went home to her Lord on November 18, 2016 at her home.

Her earthly life has ended, but her eternal life has just begun. Her life was devoted to her Savior, Jesus Christ.

Carol was born July 7, 1946, the first child of Daniel T. and Mary Lou Reynolds Larimore.

In an unusual twist, she began and ended her life in the same house built by her dad. One of the greatest loves of her life was her relationship with her three sons and seven siblings.

Upon graduating from Delavan High School, Carol obtained a Bachelor Degree from the University of Alabama in Home Economics. She worked for the State of Illinois as a caseworker for the Department of Public Aid. While raising her sons, she earned a degree in nursing. The highpoint of her nursing career was working at Lincoln Developmental Center where she worked with developmentally and physically disabled adults. She found great reward in serving.

Carol's greatest joy was in being the mother of her three boys: Levi, Seth, and Ben. She welcomed any young person who needed a meal, bed, or hug. A special time in her life was her Friday night craft/movie night with her church girls, dubbed "Curlz Gurlz."
Prairie Bible Church was her second home and the congregation was her second family. Nothing warmed her heart more than talking about her love of Jesus.

Carol had many hobbies: knitting, crocheting, visiting her Alabama relatives, Bible study, and as her health declined, coloring adult coloring books.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jeff.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons: Levi Ross (Leslie) of Chatham, IL, Seth Ross and Ben Ross, both of Delavan, IL. Her five sisters and brother: Lana (Will) Staelens, Darla (Ralph) Walters, Dana (Bob) Burton, Jacqui (Kevin) Dodson, Lori (Tom) Newman, and Dan (Aretta) Larimore; numerous nieces and nephews. She would always say to her family, "I love you more and always will."

Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Prairie Bible Church in Delavan. Her brother, Dan Larimore, will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, from 5-7 pm, also at the church. Burial will be in Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan. Davis-Oswald Funeral Home in Delavan is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Caroline L. Kirkendall, widow of Captain James W. Kirkendall, 39 South Ohio Avenue, Columbus, died yesterday following several months' illness. Her husband was a captain in the First Regiment of Ohio cavalry in the Civil war, and was well known in Licking County. Surviving are five sons, James F. of Chicago, C. A. of Louisville, Ky., C. Caroline Virginia Larimore married Lyman Bolton, son of Thomas M. Bolton and Lucenia Carpenter, circa 1896. Caroline Virginia Larimore lived before 1910 at Marion, Marion Co., OH. She lived in 1930 at Johnstown, Licking Co., OH. She died on 25 February 1939 at Sunbury, Delaware Co., OH, at age 60.

     Carrie Larimore was the daughter of James D. Larimore. Carrie Larimore died circa 1925 at Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA.

     Charles D. Larimore was born in 1875 at Licking or Knox Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Joseph Montonya Larimore and Rachel Louisa Spellman. Charles D.
