Dies at the Home of His Father at
Kirkersville Station

Dr. L. S. Larimore died at the home of his father, Daniel Larimore at Kirkersville Station, Wednesday morning at 7 o’clock, after a long illness with consumption. The deceased was 37 years of age and leaves a wife and three children [author’s italics].
The funeral took place at the home at 10 o’clock, sun time, this morning and interment will be made in Maple Grove Cemetery this afternoon.
Dr. Larimore was a former resident of Granville, where he attended both public school and college, and he had many friends here.

He was buried in March 1899 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Granville, Licking Co., OH.

     Louis Elmer Larimore was born on 20 November 1888 at Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL. He was the son of Andrew Jackson Larimore and Caroline Anthony. Louis Elmer Larimore married Lena Pech, daughter of Julius Adolph Pech and Elizabeth Johanna Harnack, on 18 May 1912 at Tazewell Co., IL. Louis was a semi-professional prize fighter in his youth. He was employed by the Chicago and Alton Railroad and the Illinois Central Railroad.

When Louis passed away he was thought to be the last survivor of the pioneer families who had settled in Circleville, Illinois.

He was buried in 1979 at Prairie Rest Cemetery, Delavan, Tazewell Co., IL, Find A Grave Memorial# 76697327.
