Warren Mayer
Warren C. Mayer, 51, 1144 Shuler Ave., died Monday at 4:20 a.m. at Mercy Hospital.
Born in Hamilton, he was a son of John and Katherine Finn Mayer. He married Carol Sizemore in 1951.
Mr. Mayer had been employed by the Millillo Distributing Co. for 30 years. He was a member of the Teamsters local 100 and the St. Veronica Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Katherine Mayer, Hamilton; three sons, Warren C. Mayer II, John Mayer, Steven Mayer, all of Hamilton; four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Roxanne) McGee, Hamilton, Katherine Mayer, Gene Mayer, Jenny Lynn Mayer, all at home; four brothers, Jay Michael Mayer, Millville, John Mayer, Oxford, Martin Mayer, Thomas Mayer, both of Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Kenneth (Irene) Brown, Hamilton; three grandchildren.
Services Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 339 Pershing Ave. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Veronica Church. Burial St. Stephen Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Donations may be made to the St. Veronica Building Fund in memory of Mr. Mayer.

Miss Margaret E. Mayers, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence E. Mayers, Littlestown R. 1, became the bride of George L. DeVed, Baltimore, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George C. DeVed, at a double ring ceremony on Sunday afternoon in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Littlestown. The pastor, Rev. David S. Kammerer, officiated. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mayers, Littlestown, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.
The bride was attired in a dress of white nylon lace over net with white accessories. She wore a white rosebud corsage and her only jewelry was a single strand of pearls, a gift of the bridegroom. Mrs. Mayers wore a pink lace dress with white accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds.
Mrs. DeVed is a graduate of the Tanneytown High School and the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing, Baltimore. Mr. DeVed is a Baltimore business man. At the conclusion of an extended wedding trip the couple will reside in an apartment at 408 Edsdale Road, Baltimore.


After George's death, Margaret subsequently married a von Hagel and lived at Catonsville, Maryland.

He was the son of Charles Selleck Maynard and Violet L. Boyd.1 Boyd J. Maynard married Geraldine Louise Garrage, two children. Boyd J. Maynard died in March 2009 at Washtenaw Co., MI, at age 79.

     Daniel Ira Mayne was born on 30 December 1898. He was the son of John Mayne and Hannah Lambert. Daniel Ira Mayne began military service in 1918 World War I, 2nd Lieutenant (July 18, 1918 - February 14, 1919.) He married Ella Gertrude White, daughter of Sherman S. White and Blanche Larimore, on 2 February 1922 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH. Occupation: Chief patent counsel for Eastman Kodak at Rochester, Monroe Co., NY. Daniel Ira Mayne lived at Rochester, Monroe Co., NY, Daniel bought a farm in Rochester with two houses. He built a larger house that incorporated the old farm house. His son John inherited the farm. Daniel raised a bull that was famous for siring cows with the national record for butter fat production. The farm became a Holstein breeding establishment.

He died on 21 July 1967 at Rochester, Monroe Co., NY, at age 68.

Daniel Ira Mayne, Jr. 72 died Sept. 22, 1996, at his residence. A native of Washington D.C., he was born Feb. 6, 1924, to Daniel Ira and Gertrude White Mayne, and had lived in Reno for the past 12 years, coming from Greenbrae, California.
Mayne was an Eastman Kodak sales representative for 40 years and a Navy veteran, serving from 1942 to 1944. He graduated from Ohio State University. Surviving are son, Donald and daughter Debbie Mayne both of San Rafael, Calif; daughter, Judy Mayne of Fairfax, California, and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held in Rochester, N.Y. at a later date. Cremation will be under the direction of Northern Nevada Memorial Cremation and Burial Society.1
