     Martha Hattie Lyne was also known as "Mattie". She was born on 9 November 1864 at Henderson Co., KY, Age 6 on 1870 census, age 14 on 1880 census.^2,1 She was the daughter of Henry Lyne and Ann Catherine Kelley.¹ Martha Hattie Lyne married Julian K. McGoodwin, son of James Kerr McGoodwin and Cornelia P. Latham, in 1892. Martha Hattie Lyne married Thomas Benjamin Bright in 1910. Martha Hattie Lyne died on 28 August 1962 at Danville, Boyle Co., KY, at age 97. She was buried in 1962 at Fernwood Cemetery, Henderson, Henderson Co., KY, Findagrave #87230244.

     Mary Anne Lyne was the daughter of Col. William Lyne III and Lucy Foster Lyne.

     Mary E. Lyne was born circa 1840 at Henrico Co. (probably), VA.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Robert Baylor Lyne and Mary Ambrose Edwards.¹

Mary McDowell Lyne died on 3 August 1938 at East Orange, Essex Co., NJ, at age 53.

     Mary Ryland Lyne was born on 15 June 1900 at Orange Co., VA.¹ She was the daughter of Hiram Oliver Lyne and Mary Peachey Sizer.¹ Mary Ryland Lyne married Randolph S. Towne, son of Salem W. Towne, in 1927, The North Adams Transcript, Berkshire County, Massachusetts, June 2, 1927:

     Peachy Gascoigne Lyne was born on 16 July 1886 at Orange Co., VA, per 1900 census, death record shows 1887.¹ She was the daughter of Pvt. William Henry Lyne and Cassandra Oliver Moncure.¹ Peachy Gascoigne Lyne married Virginius Randolph Shackelford, son of Judge George Scott Shackelford and Virginia Minor Randolph, on 10 November 1910 at Orange Co., VA. Peachy Gascoigne Lyne died on 26 April 1976 at Gordonsville, Orange Co., VA, at age 89. She was buried in April 1976 at Graham Cemetery, Orange, Orange Co., VA, Findagrave #70158575.

     Richard Gascoigne Lyne was born on 10 October 1895 at Orange Co.      Susannah Lyne was born in 1757 at Williamsburg area, Virginia. She was the daughter of William Lyne II. Susannah Lyne married Col. William Starling, son of William Starling and Jane Gordon, in 1774. Susannah Lyne lived, Susannah and William Starling resided near Boydton, in Mecklenburg County for several years after their marriage, and then relocated to Kentucky. She died on 7 September 1802.

     William Lyne was the son of Col. William Lyne III and Lucy Foster Lyne. William Lyne married Elizabeth Baylor. William Lyne lived in 1807 at Berkeley Co., VA (now WV).¹

     Pvt. William Henry Lyne was born on 17 April 1843 at Orange Co., VA.^2,1 He was the son of Dr. Robert Baylor Lyne and Mary Ambrose Edwards.² Pvt. William Henry Lyne began military service on 4 June 1861 Civil War service, C.S.A. Army, Richmond Howitzers Light Artillery, Co. 3, Army of Northern Virginia, enlisted, was surrendered 9 APR 1865, Appomattox Court House. He married Cassandra Oliver Moncure, daughter of William Augustus Moncure and Lucy Ann Gatewood, on 15 December 1868, Eight children born, four living as of 1900 census.^1,3 Pvt. William Henry Lyne lived in June 1880 at Barbour District, Orange Co., VA.¹ He died on 2 February 1887 at Orange Co., VA, at age 43. He was buried in February 1887 at Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, VA, Findagrave #7173128.

     William Henry Lyne M.D. was born on 12 May 1873 at Orange Co. (probably), VA.¹ He was the son of Pvt. William Henry Lyne and Cassandra Oliver Moncure.¹ William Henry Lyne M.D. died in 1905 at Richmond, Henrico Co., VA.

     Col. William Lyne III was born in 1737 at King and Queen Co., VA. He was the son of William Lyne II. Col. William Lyne III married Lucy Foster Lyne, daughter of Henry Lyne and Lucy Foster, circa 1760. Col. William Lyne III lived at King and Queen Co., VA, Member, Committee of Safety, 1775. Member, Virginia House of Burgesses, 1769, 1770 and 1771. William Lyne is named in a number of land and tax transactions in King and Queen County during and after the Revolutionary period.

He began military service Col. in the Virginia line, Revolutionary War. He died on 27 September 1808 at near Dunkirk, King and Queen Co., VA.

     William Starling Lyne was born on 7 January 1853 at Henderson Co., KY. He was the son of Henry Lyne and Sarah Carneal Starling. William Starling Lyne lived on 15 August 1870 at Henderson, Henderson Co., KY, Drug clerk.² He married Mary McDowell Meyer, daughter of Dr. John M. Meyer and Mary Reed McDowell, circa 1876, Seven children born, all living as of 1900 census.³ William Starling Lyne lived between 1880 and 1900 at Magisterial Dist. 3, Boyle Co., KY.³ He died on 24 December 1945 at Lexington, Fayette Co., KY, at age 92. He was buried in December 1945 at Bellevue Cemetery, Danville, Boyle Co., KY, Findagrave #45320174.

     William Starling Lyne Jr. was born on 22 November 1885 at Boyle Co., KY.¹ He was the son of William Starling Lyne and Mary McDowell Meyer.¹ William Starling Lyne Jr. married Julia Katherine Eastin, daughter of James Augustine Eastin and Mary Amelia Hundley, on 3 December 1925 at Fayette Co. (probably), KY, No children as of 1940 census. William Starling Lyne Jr. died on 18 May 1978 at Lexington, Fayette Co., KY, at age 92.

     Wycliffe Campbell Lyne was born circa 1851 at Henrico Co., VA.¹ He was the son of Dr. Robert Baylor Lyne and Mary Ambrose Edwards.¹

     Zelma Eloise Lyne was born on 15 May 1929 at Scott Co., MO. She was the daughter of Edmond Starling Lyne and Fannie Lobmaster. Zelma Eloise Lyne married Lloyd Vernon Rasmussen on 25 September 1949 at Portland, Multnomah Co., OR. Zelma Eloise Lyne began military service Korean War service, U.S. Air Force, A3C. She lived in 1977 at Allentown, Lehigh Co., PA. She died on 29 September 2016 at age 87. She was buried in 2016 at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro, Sussex Co., DE, Findagrave #178680333.

     Andrew Russell Lynn was born on 20 February 1848 at Entriken, Huntingdon Co., PA. He married Elizabeth Shultz on 20 March 1873. Andrew Russell Lynn died on 25 October 1928 at Fairfield, Greene Co., OH, at age 80.
