Berlin Shirley Marston, 81, of Edinburg, passed away Friday, December 15, 2017 at Consulate Health Care in Woodstock. A graveside service will be held Monday, December 18 at 2:00 at Columbia Furnace Cemetery. Pastors Freddie Helsley and Randy Whetzel will officiate.
Mr. Marston was born November 2, 1936 in Woodstock, son of the late Fred and Hazel Kibler Marston. He retired from Riddlebergers after 41 years and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Shelva Miller.
Berlin is survived by his wife, Martha Virginia “Margie” Marston whom he married on March 15, 1957; four sons, Berlin O. Marston and wife Patricia of Woodstock, Jeff Marston and wife Rose of Edinburg, Dennis Marston and wife Sharon of Woodstock and Timothy Marston and wife Becky of Rocky Mount; sister, Genevieve Poston of Woodstock; two brothers, Obey Lee Marston of Harrisonburg and Lawrence “Sonny” Marston of Woodstock; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

He was buried in December 2017 at Columbia Furnace Union Church Cemetery, Columbia Furnace, Shenandoah Co., VA, Findagrave #186260519.

Shelva was born January 6, 1938 in Woodstock, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Kibler Marston.

She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ Hamburg.

She is survived by her husband, George Miller; four sons, Gerald and Neal Kingree of Maurertown and Ivan and Dale F. Kingree of Woodstock; daughter, Michelle Wolfe of Woodstock; three brothers, Berlin Marston of Edinburg, Obed Marston of Harrisonburg, and Lawrence Marston of Woodstock; sister, Genevieve Poston of Woodstock; five granddaughters; six great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Billy Keckley, Rob Keller, Terry Kibler, Anthony Lineweaver, Bill Sibert, and Mark Wolfe.

She was buried in February 2016 at Saumsville Christian Church Cemetery, Saumsville, Shenandoah Co., VA, Findagrave #158231365.
